I received this product for my honest review from buzz agent. To start of my daughter my extremely excited to open this and get started learning with this robot. She carried him everywhere for a while and she loved that she can make him meow or bark . It's definitely a great intro into coding for little ones before they get put on to computers. The only problem we had was we could really figure out how to get him to play with his ball
This Cooper Robot has been for all the kids in my family ranging from 5-12. All the kids enjoyed the features of it repeating, singing, and lighting up. The older kids enjoyed going through and doing the different stem challenges. We are looking to get a second one to be enjoy how the two would interact with one another.
My son is 7 and autistic, and when I tell you he had this robot moving and dancing before I was done reading the instructions, I'm not exaggerating. The robot can be programmed to go in multiple different directions, and will continue to do so when engaged, until the code is cleared. The feature my son loves the most is that the robot can follow a black line. We drew a path with a black line and multiple pieces of paper through our living room and he followed it, like the yellow brick road! There are so many different things that can be done with this robot, and we're still exploring. The best part? It kept my son off his iPad for a significant amount of time!
Cooper is a huge hit in our household! My 4- and 5-year-olds love the hands-on, screen-free coding challenges, and my 1-year-old gets a kick out of crawling after it and watching it move. We're planning to get a second Cooper to unlock the Communication Mode—my kids are so excited to see them interact. It's such a fun and educational toy, and it always becomes a topic of conversation when friends and family come over!
I received a complimentary sample of Cooper the Steam robot in exchange for my honest use and review. My kiddos absolutely love it. They cannot stop playing with their robot right after school. Great activity to keep the kids out of the computer and TV. Highly recomend it.
The copper is great for 7 year olds . My daughter loves it. At first it was hard to read instructions. Once my daughter and i figured it out she didn't want to put it down ! It was awesome and helped her learn
We received this complementary product for an honest review. I am so happy we did! It's awesome! I love that it's keeping my kids away from the tv and actually engaging their thinking skills. My 5 year old is always begging to play with it!
I received Cooper in exchange for my honest review, and he has been a big hit in my house! My kids are 5 and 7 and have been busy trying to learn how to operate Cooper. This little robot has a ton of features! A lot of the skills are a bit advanced for my kids, which means Cooper will continue to entertain them as they get older and figure him out more. Right now they love the Communication Mode - they learned how to get Cooper to bark like a dog and sing a song! And I love that they are developing critical thinking skills without screens. Highly recommend!
My 5 year old loves this! It's highly engaging and he loves to draw long tracks on art rolls of paper. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because for my son has ADHD there were a lot of directions to get going and he had no patience for it. We had to put it aside and go back to it a few times to get him to really engage. Once he could focus long enough to understand and for me to stop reading him directions, he loved it. I always do a quick YouTube search so he can have a visual and there weren't any for this which made the start up a little rough for us.
My five-year-old daughter was immediately interested in Cooper the robot. He looks cute and friendly, with lights and sounds that make him fun to play with. Cooper is a compact, screen-free toy that helps kids learn basic coding by pressing buttons to create simple movement sequences. This version doesn't scan the coding cards—instead, kids look at a mission and enter each step manually using the arrow buttons on top. It's easy to understand and good for practicing directions and planning. The sensors work well, and the robot moves smoothly and responds quickly. My daughter especially liked making Cooper push a small ball toward a goal. It was exciting at first, but after a few games, she started to lose interest. The tasks are simple and don't really change, so there's not much variety to keep kids engaged for a long time.
