minor disappointment but a good tool

School Rocks April 26, 2013

I would have preferred for the two hemispheres of the brain to fit together more tightly. The two hemispheres are unable to stay together and fall apart when not held in the hand. That fact slightly diminishes the affects that one expects when viewing the picture. However, it is still a great learning tool that will come in handy while educating my students. I was pleased with the company that sold the foam models to me. They made fast deliveries and provided good service.

Not for younger grades

Susan September 18, 2017

Don't love this. Quite small. Not for first graders. Labels are small and too complicated for the younger grades.

Brain model

Skulteecher May 15, 2015

The model comes in two pieces with the core being made of a sponge rubber substance which is covered in a film of latex. The model is made to interlock together. Yet, it would not stay together as a whole. So, I put a small rubber band around the two halves for storing. In the period of one week, the two sections had melded together. When I tried to separate them, the inside latex with all the brain mapping details separated from the sponge interior core......totally ruined. The type of materials used to make this model was poorly thought out and it cannot stand up to any practical use.
