Great for language skills, but the best part was getting the buzzer set for cheaper with the game (it was on sale) than buying on its own.
Used in group settings in elementary school
Love this product! Fun and exciting for our son who has a language disorder! Great purchase!
Look forward to playing this with my girls!
This adds some fun to often boring review questions!
As a former teacher I love the vocabulary aspect of this game. It helps children and adults understand word definitions and spelling in a fun way. We have a couple of different similar games in our house, but we felt that this game was designed the best. No board, just simple straightforward buzzers and cards. This format is perfect as a party game.
My GED class - dropouts who rarely felt learning was fun - love this game (the buzzers have a lot to do with it :-). It wakes them up at 9:00 p.m. when they've already put in a long day of work and family responsibilities. It's hard to stop!
My second grade CCR students loved this game. I gave them bonus points if they could spell one of the pair. Great for vocabulary development.
Kids and parents both enjoy the game. One buzzer didn't work correctly, but overall a fun game.
I bought this for the buzzers not realizing it was a game on its own. We used them on x-mas eve. They could have been louder, but they worked well for the game we were playing. To change batteries a tiny phillips screwdriver is need. 4 screws on every buzzer which makes accessing the batteries even less convenient. I gave them to the family hosting x-mas, so I don't know if the actual game is any fun. the kids (ages 11 &13) seemed to get a real kick out of the different sounds the buzzers make.
