Learning Resources Jumbo Jungle Animals: Mommas and Babies, Preschool Toys, Ages 2+

I ordered Jumbo Jungle Animals: Mommas and Babies and love them!! The animals came in a great box that was very sturdy. I also use the box to store the animals in when we are not using them. These animals are a huge hit!! My kids already have Jumbo Dinosaurs: Mommas ans Babies and love them so I knew they would love the jungle animals too. They have so much fun playing with both the Mommas and Babies sets we have. I love how well they are made and how sturdy they are. My kids and their friends play with these animals like crazy! I love to hear them make all the animal sounds and to watch them build homes for their animals. These animals are very durable and I would highly recommend them to anyone. How cute is the little babies with the mommies, my little girl loves all things babies right now. The animals really come to life in her mind and its so nice to see her use her mind to play. These guys do just that and they even become part of her finger family songs.

This Mommas and Babies animal set is played with a lot. The animals are sturdy and a good size and, and the box is sturdy and a great place to store them. It's nice to have a contrast in color and size with the different animals. It makes imaginative play very accessible with the life-like features, so our 2 &4yro boys choose to play with them quite often. I received this product as part of an incentivized review program.

All 3 of my girls enjoy playing with these animals. It is fun having a mommy and baby, as they love to roll play (5 and 3 years old). My 1 year old likes to play with them as well. They are nice quality and will not break easy, which is great when you have these 3 ages of children. We love playing with them and would definitely recommend them to anyone with small children!

I recently received these jungle animals and they have been a complete hit for my children (ages 2 and 4). They are sturdy enough to play with outside in the sandbox, rocks, and water. Easy to clean. Very realistic looking animals. My kids enjoy setting them up and knocking them down, and having them talk to each other. (My 4 year old son particularly enjoys having the momma direct the baby on what to do. He sounds surprisingly much like me...) We've had a lot of fun with these animals so far and look forward to enjoying them for months to come!

I received this product as part of an incentivized review program for my kindergarten classroom. My students were very excited to be "toy testers", and couldn't wait to get started! The box was easy to open and close. It is very durable and will be easy to store when we are finished playing with the animals. I first introduced each animal pair to the students and discussed where we thought the animals lived and shared any facts we knew. We enjoyed reading the included activity guide where it gave great, age appropriate facts about each of the animals. The students took turns playing with the animals while building with blocks. The students had fun creating houses for each animal. The students shared that they loved these animals and said, "They were built great!", "They were hard, but soft and squishy like a bathtub toy." "The babies are so cute!" All and all my kindergarten students gave this animal set a thumbs up for fun and learning!

All of the Learning Resources animals are great for play. These are just a little heavier than the other animals and dinosaurs we have at home from Learning Resources. My son was very excited to see the package when I brought these home one day. Learning Resources always does a great job on the packaging. They use nice bright colors and make it easy to know what is in each package. My son could not wait to open the box so he could start playing with mammas and babies. As mentioned they are a little heavier but are extremely well built and the coloring used is great. The momma elephant is the only one that is maybe a little too heavy but my son did not seem to mind. There is also a strong plastic smell which went away in a couple of hours. My son had to take all of his animals and dinosaurs out to line them all up and put the ones that match together. I am waiting to see what he will do next with them. What every his imagination comes up with, I'm sure he will have years of enjoyment with these.

My 2 yr old granddaughter easily recognized the animals in this set. The details on each animal are very good: eyes, nose, mouth, etc. We played the 'Where's the nose/mouth' game and she correctly identified each location. She mostly played with the babies while she had lined up the mommy animals side by side watching her play. The mommy elephant seemed to be a bit heavier and she would either use both her hands or hold it by the trunk. I would recommend this set and am looking forward to the next mommy & babies animal sets.

It was good to students to classify the mom and babies animals as well as their characteristics. Also, the students asked me why the elephant has the tail with the black color.
