I have a classroom of 13 boys and 5 girls. I can say these were dropped a few times and pressed hard into items that we were exploring.. measures 4.5" in diameter and offers 4.5x magnification so plenty of discovery happening. They are also very durable and being in preschool classroom dropped the manifiers on our tile several times and they did not even scratch they look like day one. As a teacher this is a MUST have in ANY classroom. I ran out of things to have them explore with the Primary Science Jumbo Magnifiers with Stand.... This is a A+ rating in my grade book!

I love these and the children are having fun exploring with them. The flip down part to observe with has broke on all of mine the first use. They no longer snap back up. I recommend not using this feature.

Great for children to explore and learn with. Large enough to be handled easily, big & love that they come with a stand and six for more than one child.
