this is ok if you look for hollow. is most salad 2 lizard is salad so turtles. and snake is almost hollow. what is hollow is tree frog. i gave 6 star.

At first he kept calling them all frogs, but now he knows all the correct names and it's fun to listen to him play imaginatively with them. They are good quality and decent size without being bulky or heavy. My son tries to sneak them with him everywhere we go. My girls even took the snake and used it to attack their doll town. The animals also held up well from a teething baby - the paint did not chip off like similar toys have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The other day the jumbo reptiles and amphibians showed up to the door from learning resources. I waited for my son to wake up and showed him the Box he immediately talk started talking about frogs ,turtles and snakes.He called the gecko an iguana lizards and I corrected him saying that now that's a gecko and that's an iguana . He is three and he corrected himself saying gecko and iguana. So yes these maybe toys but they are definitely educational. My older son and daughter also enjoyed looking at them and understanding what type of Reptile vs. Amphibian they were. Very pleased with this product. Would definitely recommend it for educators, parents and reptile and amphibian lovers.

This set is so much fun my 2 year old and 4 year old were so excited when they saw the beautiful colorful reptiles. The packaging is attractive and attention grabbing. The instructions are awesome because they have fun facts about all the reptiles in the set. My 2 year old is autistic and he is using them to help his motor skills as he rotates them in his hand and on surfaces. My 4 year old is learning about the characteristics of each reptile and he takes turns holding one up and rattling off what color it is, what kind of reptile it is and as many fun facts as he can remember. These are so much fun and I would highly recommend them! They are also durable as my 2 year old still mouths everything and there's no wear on these yet.

My little boy loves animals buts this set got him very interested in reptiles. He and his friends get hours of fun playing with the set- and scaring me when hiding the snack. Since receiving these they want to watch educational shows and read books about reptiles. They have been a great teaching source for summer curriculum. The set is very high quality and will withstand a lot of roughness. I think we will have this set for years to come. Toys are often not manufactured like these anymore and I am appreciative that Learning Resources values quality. We will recommend this set and Learning Resources in general to our friends, family and schoolmates!

I gave these to my nephew for his 2nd birthday when he was staying with us for the weekend and he loved them! He loved scaring us with the super realistic snake! We loved the colors on all the reptiles and how detailed they were. Seem very durable and they even went in the bathtub with him. Huge hit, highly recommend!

My son is three years old, and I'm not ready to turn him loose to catch every snake or turtle he finds. This set offers a great way for us to observe animals from a distance, talk about what we see, then get our toys out and touch and point out features while we talk about what we saw in nature. "Mr. Snake" has been carried everywhere with us for the last several days. My son has definitely gotten good use of this set!
