The kids loved this so much! They were busy for hours building all different kinds of bridges from the suggested builds book! They worked together and actually got along! I loved this toy because it got them off screens for a few hours and made them think of how they could build different bridges and make changes to the current build.

When I got this product I gave to my 11 year old granddaughter and told her to pick a design and build it. I told I wasn't going to help her to see how well she could learn it on her own. She picked the tower design and started building it follow the instructions and pictures of the completed tower. It took her about a half hour to complete the tower design and surprisingly, called her 3 years old brother to help her build one. Watching him concentrate was amazing. They ended up finishing a bridge together. Now he thinks he can do them on his own. Definitely wouldn't let him do it on his own. Finally, her 6-year-old sister helped build one and she also had fun doing it. I definitely recommend for 6 year and above age range. It's a great learning experience and they have fun building them.

I recently got this STEM explorers Bridge Builders from Learning Resources for my 7 year old son. He loves this toy and it keeps him entertaining for long times. It is very sturdy and it is very easy to build and there are a lot of options that the kids can think of. The quality of this toy is very good, it is very well made. It does not easily break. It is such a great learning game. We are loving it and we do not have any complaints so far. And yes, we would absolutely recommend this toy to our friends, family and colleagues.

STEM Explorers™ Bridge Builders is an interesting, entertaining and educational toy! My kids really enjoy playing with it, it provokes lots of thinking and also fun and creativity. So, I would definitely recommend it to parents of kids starting from 4-5 years old.

This was a bit daunting to look at right out of the box, but got easier as we started tinkering with it. My son is 7 and was a bit annoyed at first but got more into it as we went on. There's quite a few pieces and you absolutely have to read the instructions to do it. I would have liked a more customizable option but it was still a lot of fun to build different bridges and see how they work!

Even though my son is four years old, I still want him to learn how to create and build bridges through the power of play. The Learning Resources STEM Explorers Bridge Builders Kit is designed for ages 5+, but the parts, in my opinion, are very sturdy and safe for children above 3. It has a set of plastic pieces that can be put together into different types of bridges. There is a set of bridge description cards that offers some information on the several types of bridges as well as instructions on how to build them with the provided pieces (instructions are very clear and concise). See attached pictures. My wife and I also play along with our son since Bridge Builder STEM kit is interesting for adults as well. I love the fact that my son can use his imagination to build different bridges using the 72 pieces in this set. The pieces are their own kind of interconnecting system, and my son has been building offers a different kind of bridges to his liking. Overall, this is a unique educational building set that combines learning and play quite well. Definitely recommended for parents who are prepping for the engineer of tomorrow.

My 6 year old loved this Stem Bridge Explorers kit! Each bridge you can build comes with an info card pertaining to different types of bridges as well as straightforward step by step directions for building. It was just the right amount of play/learning combo. The pieces easily snap together and are of great quality where they don't bend. If I could add anything to this, it would be more cards and more bridges! My son whipped through them all in less than an hour. He now uses them for free building and has made some pretty cool car ramps out of it. We love imaginative play here! Learning Resources has always been a favorite educational brand of mine. I have 3 children and the wide variety they have for each age group is spectacular. They were so kind to send me this free sample through BzzAgent sampling program.

I received the STEM Explorers Bridge Builders set for free in exchange for a review from BzzAgent, and I'm sure glad we did. Our whole family has had so much fun with this set. This is great for learning about structure as well as playing and creating. The instruction cards give types of bridges and examples. The instructions could be a bit more detailed though, and tell which direction each type of piece should go. Some of the pieces are difficult to snap together especially for smaller hands. This set has already brought hours of fun for our family. Our 8-year-old daughter has been able to build all 8 bridges with a little help from mom or dad. She has also created some structures of her own. Great for play as well as challenging the brain and learning about types of structures. I would definitely recommend this kit and we plan on buying some of the other kits that Learning Resources offer.

My son is 8 and was excited to play with this at first. He built a draw bridge and loved that it came with a string to make it go up and down. But he quickly ran out of pieces and couldn't make it as big as he wanted. So then I encouraged him to make a different bridge, but by then he was bored with it. I think this would be 5 stars if there were more pieces, and maybe a bigger variety of things to make. I would recommend this to someone as a rainy day backup toy, but not an every day thing.

The instructional cards that come with this set of building manipulatives is informational and thought provoking. The pieces themselves could use better design. They are very difficult to snap together (even for an adult) and became sources of frustration for children working to assemble a bridge who have Autism Spectrum Disorder.
