My daughter loves it.

anonymous October 5, 2025

Got this for my daughter and she loves it. She plays with it everyday with her kitchen set and dolls. This is a must have for a toddler. They also have it at her school as well.

Awesome product!!!

Grandbabies4 October 7, 2014

I bought these for my grand daughter for Christmas. After researching many play food products I wanted something that was going to last, not the cheap plastics ones that they can smash then you have to throw them away. Was not really wanting to pay as much as I did for play food but after receiving the items I was glad I did. These will long outlast her play time with kitchenette and play food. The are so realistic looking and they are almost like a solid rubbery material so no smashed in foods to play with. I cant wait till Christmas cause she is going to love these

Has it all!

Kim February 26, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This play food has it all! All the food groups and a colorful array of choices for each. They are sturdy and soft (just in case my boys decide to have food fights). The baskets that they come in are such a wonderful bonus. Instead of wood pieces that have piled up unused, they play with these colorful baskets!

Fabulous!

JuliettesMommy December 25, 2014

These baskets are PERFECT for my 22 month old. He loves playing kitchen and the unique variety of foods (asparagus, blackberries, yogurt, steak, etc.) are amazing for teaching him different types of foods, but also for imaginative play. I haven't ever found a more unique set of foods made specifically for this age group; all of the pieces are soft and rubbery (no sharp or hard edges) and he hasn't stopped playing with them since we bought them! Would DEFINITELY recommend these over the other foods out there by other companies.

Great quality

JM2015 December 15, 2020

Love the Learning Resources Sprout brand food. It does not chip like wooden play food and does not indent like plastic food when my toddler uses it as a teething toy. It seems indestructible so far which is great because it has to last for several kids. I highly recommend this set.

Fun Pretend Food

BellasMomma April 25, 2020

I purchased this based on reviews. Was looking for realistic looking food for my 16 month olds play kitchen. The baskets are prepacked with a variety of food and drinks. I would stress to anyone thay buys them to make sure you at least wipe them down with a damp dish cloth. The plastic smell is evident upon unpacking them and this helped greatly. Though now i wonder if these are non-toxic, no BPA? Which is what I usually look for in the product description. Also, theres some repeats across the baskets of food, i.e. glass of milk, lettuce, bread which can be good or bad depending on your need. Overall, my toddler loves everything including the baskets which also double as a carrier for her baby. Just watch out for some of the smaller items like the cucumber, apple slices, etc. they are on the smaller side so she can almost fit them in her mouth all the way.
