Learning Resources New Sprouts Mix it!, Play Food, Ages 2+

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A birthday gift for our 3 yr old granddaughter.....she loved it as did her 6 yr old sister! Very sturdy & the egg that cracks open was a big hit!

My little girl brings this into the kitchen every time I use my mixer. She loves to be just like me and help now she can. Even in her play kitchen she gets to mix up cakes and cookies. Great toy for any little girl or boy who loves to help in the kitchen

I ordered New Sprouts, Mix It and my kids love it! It came in a very sturdy box and was well packaged. My kids jumped at the chance to play with it right away. I love how durable it is and the colors are bright and fun. It comes with an egg, butter and a measuring cup. I bake all the time so my daughter loves to get this out when I'm baking. She imitates me when i have my own mixer out. It is so great for her to have this to play with while I use mine. My son loves to play with it too! He gets it out when daddy makes pancakes in the morning. We have a lot of the New Sprouts kitchen toys/sets and this one is an awesome addition to our play kitchen area! I would highly recommend this play set. I received this product as part of an incentivized review program.

Pull out the new sprouts mix it set and play bakery! That's what we did. I had everything I needed for a little imaginative play, and it helped make my cooking time so much easier. The mixer is colorful and chunky. It's sized just right and the spinning beater makes a little sound to get excited about. It feels sturdy. Wiping it down was easy, too. Add several years of play to your play kitchen with this toy! I'm glad I did.

I actually bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas......being a retired FCS teacher, I thought a little mixer would be ideal!! I'll let you know how she likes it !!

This mixer is such a hit with my toddlers, it compliments their bake and learn set perfectly and they really enjoy cooking with all their toys. We love this set and totally recommend it.

This mixer is very fun and durable. All of the kids love to play with the mixer in the kitchen. The mixer has a very handy drawer where the food can be stored for easy pick up! Very cute toy great for little kids imagination.

Similar to real life playing. Daughter loves that the mixer spins and the egg shell is soft, to easily open.

This product is really pretty fun for a young toddler because it has moving parts and separate pieces. My daughter enjoyed the box cover image of a smiling girl playing with all the pieces and therefore tried mimicking the photograph as best she could. She took to twisting the blender part of the mixer easily and had loads of fun with the egg (it's the perfect size to gnaw on and you can put the egg back together after "cracking" it anyway the ridges fit rather than only one way.) -It would be nice if the base on the blender were heavier so it didn't topple when she was playing with it. She had difficulty setting it back up properly without it toppling over and over, which was frustrating to her. - She was most interested in the egg and trying to put it back together. She walked around with it constantly. -She tried to twist the knob a lot. -I'm not sure she made a clear connection between this and my KitchenAid. I did make a recipe with my KitchenAid the day after we got this toy and she did seem to show interest in her toy afterward, although it was unclear to me whether she made the connection on her own or was just picking up the toy because I put it in front of her. This may be due to her younger age. -She was not interested in the butter or measuring cup.
