it's a cute little toy register for kids. actually I'm using it for a yard sale upcoming myself and then I'm going to give it to my grandchild. because it does work like a real cash register. But kids would enjoy this. I just wish it was a little better made as far as the plastic. looks like it could break very easy. so be gentle I'm sure would be my best advice. other from that it's very nice. Even the coins and paper money look kind of realistic.
I, especially, like this item because I can use it in ALL my child's addition and subtraction problems. This item is good for children that need the, “hands on” experience therefore, supporting the mother/father/teacher's return demonstration aspect of their teaching techniques. This is a good support product for ALL learning/teaching techniques.
My 4yo doesn't have any complaints, but I noticed it does not have any kind of scanner to pretend to scan barcodes. You just have to type like a calculator. But my kid doesn't mind, he loves playing store with it It's a bit expensive for what it is, but it was worth it. It does come with play bills and coins but for some reason it only has 3 compartments for bills but they give you 1s, 5s, 10s AND 20s so you have to leave one of those categories of bills out because there's not enough spaces for all b
kids from every walk of life recognize and relate to this gift. And they all seem to love doing what Mama does at the grocery store. Just like when we were kids with the shopping cart. But now they get to use there little credit card swiper. so cute !!
This is an excellent educational toy that will create real-life play experiences for children. It's nice to purchase gifts that are not computer/technology items. Hoping my twins will learn some money management skills during play. It's never too early to start. There is a lot to do with this “toy” that will keep them busy for a while!
What child doesn't love to play with a cash register? There are a number of them out there, but few are quality made and can stand up for long. This one is a keeper. I bought so many for my daughter when she was a child. They were cute but made of flimsy plastic and never held up. She loved the scanners. But those only flashed a light and never lasted longer than a day or two. Santa Claus brought this cash register for my granddaughter and she loves it! It is made of sturdy plastic. The color is nice and gender neutral. It is loaded with very realistic play bills and coins. The detail is the closest to real that I've ever seen. The money is comparable to actual in look, size and feel. It could even be replaced with actual money for older kids playing "real store". Could be a valuable tool for kids to understand the buying and selling process. My granddaughter is way too young for that, but it will probably need real money by then because I'm sure the money included will be lost by that time! The calculator is a great teaching tool. She loves to count and call the numbers as she pushes the buttons. As she grows older, she will learn the plus, minus, equal and etc. This is a growing and learning tool for all of us to use with her, and a fun everyday toy just for her. One of those things that kids love but don't know it's good for them! It's not full of junk stuff or unnecessary sounds, bells and whistles. It beeps when you punch in numbers and slide credit card. It cha-chings when you press open. When she's older we can teach her how to minus out coupons and save money! I would definitely recommend this product...5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I got this for my youngest Grand Daughter. It came straight out of the box, with no set up required. All I did was take the protective tape off. Opened and deposited the play coins and currency, and opened the package to get the Credit Card. It has a pre-installed battery for the beeping sound, but the calculator is run by solar power. She was thrilled. She played with it all day!! It actually works and even shows when she made a mistake. I think every can in the pantry was used when she played supermarket. Everybody in the family became shoppers. It was entertaining and very educational for her. I spent all afternoon teaching her how to make change. It required no tools, Was already pre-assembled, and is very colorful and life-like. I give this 5 stars as you don't get many toys today that can be played right out of the box!!
This made the perfect gift for my 6 yr old grandson to play and learn at the same time. I bought this when it went on Rollback and had Walmart Cashback or else I wouldn't have paid original price, not yhat the quality isn't good, the price was just too high originally and I had been wanting to buy this item for awhile before I finally got it at a great price. I do recommend this toy.
This is a gift for my 3 year old granddaughter, will be giving it to her soon. I did take it out of the box and look at it. The plastic seems kind of cheap. I'm hoping it holds up. I do like the fact that it's also a calculator. The drawer also opens out very far, which is nice. I had also bought the Minnie Mouse cash register and the drawer on that hardly comes out, but my granddaughter loves that one, so I bought her this bigger one.
When I opened the box, the calculator/cash register had half the side ripped off box, have no idea was not in delivery box, so therefore had to be done with your company, have no idea if everything is there, will have my son check it next time he comes over, it is for my grandson, why would you send something with the side of box ripped open
