Got this game for my first grader who is a slower reader. She's loving it, and has taken it to her aftercare program where all the kids around her age absolutely love. I definitely think it is helping with her speed and fluency. The quality is excellent, the swatters nice and robust and the flies made of really thick cardboard.

Great for 1st-4th graders

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grandson loves playing this game both alone and with his friends. I definitely recommend it for a child that likes active participation in learning.

I liked that the game was ready to play right out of the box and the flies game in a bag this seals shut. The flies are color coded to help you decide which flies you want to use. With there being two words on each fly, you are able to use either side to play the game without having so many pieces to keep track of.

This game is a wonderful way to learn sight words and so much fun to play! Its a win win !

Love this! So fun! My kid loves it!

I had a previous version of this product, and all the bugs were a consistent color. That is, a bug would be green on feont and back. Now bugs are one color on one side and a different color on the other. This means you can't separate them, but have to dump the entire bag and look for your colors (including on the backs of colotlrs you don't want.) In addition, the swatter shown on the box is actually in a cut-out section of the box top, which means the box just has a hole in it after you open it.
