This Skill Builders Number Learning Kit is a great way to teach kids different math skills, and everything stores perfectly inside a compact tin for storage or travel. This kit comes with 50 colorful MathLink cubes, along with 40 activities printed on laminated cards. The cubes also help with fine motor skills, and there are some fun shape activities as well. I would love to see an add-on expansion pack for growing Elementary schoolers, and wish it came with 100 cubes as we use 100 chart counting often for math. Overall this is a great set for kids, is made well, and I can tell this will last through the school years.

Set is full of colors that would help them to play with this set in different ways and I love that it comes with a tin where you can store all the pieces. It includes cards with different activities to practice their skills and colorful blocks to play with. Age suggestion is advised for 4+ since blocks would represent a chock hazard for little ones. My 6 year old loves her new learning toy. This makes learning fun, she actually thinks it's a cute little game and immediately opened it to start learning.

My daughter loved these blocks! She was able to do the activities on the cards and also made up her own! Hours of entertainment for her which was nice for me to be able to get stuff done around the house!

My 4 year old and 6 year old enjoyed playing with this. My 6 year old was able to help my 4 year old learn some quick counting using these blocks. They enjoyed building the pictures, as well as counting each color. The only downside is that it was sometimes difficult for them to figure out the correct direction to face the blocks to ensure all the pieces could connect.

In many ways, this product is better than other learning products I have experienced. It gives the impression of being age-appropriate while still allowing the child to proceed at his or her pace. I also like that the product is multi-purposeful and can be used in a number of instructional ways. The only improvement I would recommend with this learning product is to make the activity cards from a heavier paper stock, so they are more durable. The fact that the activity cards are not a heavier, more durable card stock is the only reason I rated this product a four out of five stars. I do not have any other suggestions for improvements. I would definitely purchase this product for my grandchildren. They enjoyed playing and learning with it. I would also recommend this learning kit to family and friends.

Overall this is a fun way for preschoolers to begin number recognition, counting and simple addition and subtraction. The included bright colorful cubes gives a hands on and visual experience that makes it easier to comprehend. The double sided cards have different activities that you use the colors blocks with to interact with by building number towers, sorting and counting. However I did find that even though there is a coating on the cards, they are thin and can easily be torn. I think they would be better if made of a heavier card stock.The blocks are sturdy and easy to stack. They are just the right size for little hands to manipulate. Clean up is easy as everything fits easily inside the tin.This is a good tool for early learning that keeps the kids engaged and having fun while learning.
