We use these sorters in our kitchen play area of the three and four year old room at our daycare. The children love them. Not only are they a great creative play toy they introduce mathematical concepts. The children gravitate towards this toy because it is bright and colorful but they don't even realize they are practicing sorting and shape recognition. We love this toy!

I haven't used it yet. It's for a gift, but I've seen others who have this item that influenced my purchase.

A great toy! Not only is it play food, but also teaches children about colors and shapes. The icing attaches to the cupcake by matching up the shapes.

One of my favorite gifts received and also purchases to gift. Great quality. Endless fun and learning opportunities with it. I never had any issues with the product having a strong chemical smell as several other reviews claimed. I guess maybe they just got a bad "batch" (cupcake joke). This sia great item for the children to play with. I have it for my preschoolers and for my grandchildren as well. Great for strengthening fine motor skills and dexterity...pulling and pushing the base from the cupcake frosting top to match the shape patterns. Children can learn their colours and shapes as well as play together in dramatic play situations such as Bake Shop...Cooking...Restaurant etc. Love it.

I use this product at my daycare for the infant room I work in. They love when I get this out to play with. They are just the right size for them to hold and they love putting them in and out of the cupcake pan. The product is very durable which is important since babies chew on everything. We talk about the colors and shapes on each one and it is great for learning those things and also fine motor skills. The only thing I don't like about this is the cupcakes are too hard for the children to take apart by themselves. I even struggle a little to pry them apart. But overall I love this item and would recommend it. It is also very easy to wash and sanitize which is another plus!

Product is excellent other than the horrible acetone smell. I have washed them twice and left them outside over night in -20 weather and they still smell. Not sure if they are safe enough for my toddler to play with.

I ran them through my dishwasher twice and the smell mostly went away. I hope the company addresses the source of this odor, as it is concerning (I hope it isn't harmful?) because this is a great toy otherwise. My daughter really likes to play with them.
