I work with early elem boys with autism, and this set works amazingly with them. Even though the boys are working on their fine motor skills, math skills, and hand-eye coordination, they truly enjoy these engaging activities and are always wanting to do more. The boys find the fun shapes (especially the motors and dinosaurs) to be especially motivating when matching and counting. Also, I use the chain links for my students to work on improving their pincer grasp. There are six color categories to sort, which is easy to differentiate. Some boys are successful using 2-3 colors, while other boys are successful using all 6 colors. Overall, two thumbs up! I've already recommended the Super Sorting Set to my colleagues and other teacher friends.
I love using these for math activities .

My son (4 1/2) has Asperger's Syndrome and this set is perfect for helping him develop his lacking fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. This set is fun, brightly colored and very well made from rubber and plastic. My only complaint is that the red and orange resemble each other too closely. But, older kids have no trouble distinguishing but younger children might.
