This is a wonderful little toy for my little niece and granddaughter! I provide care for them both and keep it at my house, and since I got it, it's been the first toy they go for every time. They have so much taking turns playing with and interacting with each other.
It's cute! My bear-loving 2-year-old was excited to get this for Christmas. The bears are hard plastic but seem durable; the house doors close with a snap and can be hard to open. The back flips open because, weirdly, that part does not snap closed. But other than that, it's been a good addition.
First, I would like to thank Buzzfeed for providing me this product for free in exchange for my honest review. As a mom of two energetic boys, ages one and three, I'm always on the lookout for toys that are both engaging and educational. The Three Bear Family Storytime Picnic toy allows a child or family to incorporate storytelling with imaginative play. I've tried my fair share of toys that ended up collecting dust in the corner, but this one has been a surprisingly delightful addition to our playtime routine. Compared to other toys we've owned, this set stands out for its simplicity and versatility. It's not overly stimulating with flashing lights or loud sounds. Instead, it encourages my boys to use their imaginations and create their own stories, which is something I value. One of the biggest benefits of owning this product is its ability to promote language development and social skills. My three-year-old loves to act out the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, using the bear figurines and picnic accessories. Even my one-year-old enjoys playing with the bears and picnic items, exploring different textures and shapes. The toy also encourages sharing and cooperation, as my boys take turns playing with the different pieces. It's a great way to teach them about sharing and working together, which are important life skills. Would I buy this product? Absolutely! It's a well-made, engaging toy that has provided hours of entertainment for my boys. And would I recommend it to my friends and family? Without a doubt! If you're looking for a toy that promotes creativity, language development, and social skills, the Three Bear Family Storytime Picnic toy is an excellent choice. It's a "beary" good investment that will bring joy to your little ones for years to come.
I love this as it offers interactive and imaginative play. My five year old and one year old both enjoyed playing with the bears and the house. My daughter had fun making up storylines for why they couldn't find their cupcake or who was hiding in the apple. As a former kindergarten teacher I think this is an excellent toy for those in toddler stage to even kinder. With plenty of learning disguised as play!
I received this as a free sample for my children to use and they enjoyed it very much! They like to create stories about the pieces (bears, food, and house. They've added some of their little people characters to the stories as well. The plastic seems durable and will last for a while, even with tough kiddos. I think they will use this as they continue to grow as well!
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. We've used other bear/sorting sets before, but the Storytime Picnic twist makes it way more engaging. The bears feel sturdy, the colors are bright, and the story prompts turn counting/sorting into a game (huge win for attention spans). Benefits: sneaky math practice, color/size recognition, and easy imaginative play. I would buy this, it is a good value for a gift too, and I'd recommend it to friends with preschoolers or other speech and language therapist!. Only wish: a few extra story prompts and a dedicated storage pouch.
I received this product in exchange for my honest feedback. As a mom of a child who has been in speech therapy for a year, I absolutely love this toy set. It's simple yet effective in having creative play while teaching speech and positional language such as in, out, under, over, open, close, inside and outside. My son generally just uses nouns and describes an object but I've worked with him and this toy and now he says phrases like take the bear out and open door to put apple in. I love that it is sensory friendly, avoiding lights and sounds for kids with sensitivities. It's designed for 18m+ but my three and a half year old really enjoys it as you can be creative with imaginative play. Highly recommend this toy!
Thank you for sending us the Three Bear Family Storytime Picnic toy in exchange for our honest review. My 18-month-old son really enjoys this toy. He loves opening and closing the little doors and placing the figures on different levels of the house. I especially like that the whole house opens fully from the back and even through the roof, which makes it easy for him to play. He doesn't just use the figures that came with the set—he also puts in his own little toys. The apple that can be taken apart and put back together is another favorite. We use the house for role-play games, and my son has so much fun with it. It's a great toy that keeps him engaged and imaginative.
This is a really cute toy. It's fun to play hide and seek with the bears. My little girl likes playing with it, but it only keeps her attention for so long. They market it as educational and good for language, but we didn't really get that out of it. The doors are a little too strong to open for her without help. I do like that everything can be put in the picnic basket and stored easily without parts everywhere.
My daughter really enjoyed playing with this toy and loved the three sizes of the bears. Also loved that they were different colors. The sandwich was a little hard for her to put together but she is obsessed with the cupcake and the apple. Only wish that the large back door shut a little more completely- it tends to flop open. Otherwise, appealing and fun!
