Fun Math Practice

Danielle May 31, 2026

My 9 year old requests this game most nights after dinner. It's a fun way for kids to practice math; and anything that resembles school without a *sigh* from her is a win in my book.

A MUST BUY FOR KIDS STRUGGLING WITH MATH!!!

MamaC87 December 29, 2016

I bought this for my son who is really struggling with division and multiplication. We've played it together and a first it was a little confusing but once you get the hang of it it's really fun. We've only opened it 5 days ago but so far it's awesome. Some kids may need their multiplication table chart to help in the beginning but I think he'll be able to play without it in the future.

tri-FACTa is per-FECTo!

Mrs. Bainbridge's Blog July 6, 2013

I LOVE this game! It works a little like Scrabble as kids are building fact families. I love teaching with fact families and the deep understanding of math concepts kids get when they understand the relationships between operations... so this was right up my alley! I love how much mental math kids will need to do in order to search for fact families and they will love that it is a fun game! Our 3rd graders struggled with their multiplication and division facts this year, so I am so excited to have this game to start practicing with early. I know my students will love it!

Fun and Educational

MyFourMonkeys March 31, 2013

My ten year old has really struggled with memorizing her multiplication facts. Division seemed to be a breeze for her, but not multiplication for some reason. She's been doing much better, but I wish I had the tri-FACTa Multiplication & Division game last year! This fun and educational board game helps your school aged learner to practice those multiplication and division facts while having fun. Similar to Scrabble, each player has a rack where they keep their number cards handy to use when it's their turn. Each player can use their number cards to create multiplication and division facts. Be the first player to play all your cards, and call out "tri-FACTa", and you win! Includes triangle game board, 100 cards (facts up to 100) and 4 trays (2-4 players). tri-FACTa really makes the kids think, and they've gotten much more comfortable with their facts! Geared toward ages 8 and up, the tri-FACTa™ Multiplication & Division Game gives shool-aged kiddos a fun way to practice those math facts. FYI: There's also an addition and subtraction version for younger kids. *I received this product free of charge for the purpose of review.*

Great game for practising times tables!

Jen December 27, 2020

My 8 year old actually really enjoyed playing this which is a huge bonus as he usually hates practising his tables! The game comes with a board to place the multiplication/division facts on, lots of number cards and a tray to place your cards on. We started with the harder game which sees you trying to make a tri-facta (multiplication/division fact using 3 numbers, e.g 3 x 4 = 12). If you can't make one with 3 of your numbers then you can pick up a card which is face down. This way of playing seemed to take a long time, as there are so many possible numbers to choose, and my son started to get frustrated. We then switched to the easier version which my son found much more accessible. It made the game move much more quickly and was more enjoyable as he could match the numbers up but really, the person who starts most likely wins as you can see all the cards. We looked online to see if there were any other ways to play and found 3 more possible activites on the website which were fun to try out. The next time we play, I think I will take a few of the tables out and focus on lower numbers, then gradually increase the difficulty. I might also make a few extra cards to increase the possibility of making whole tables. Perhaps LR could think about including some wipe clean blank cards for this purpose? Then families could focus on the times tables which are needed. Overall I thought this was a good game for practising times tables with your child and I could see it being used in the classroom as well.

Make Math Fun!!

Debbie October 3, 2013

Geared towards ages 8+ (grades 3+), tri-FACTa is a fun and educational board game that helps your school aged child practice multiplication and division facts while having fun. This is a game that I will keep at my house as a fun way to spend an evening with my grandchildren. Mom, Dad, Grandma or Grandpa (or an older brother or sister) may need to help at first to be sure the players understand the rules of the game. Such as, the two bottom numbers multiply to equal the number at the top of the triangle. I received a tri-FACTa game in exchange for my honest review.
