This is my fourth sheath I've purchased for my Wave. Had it about a month and like it better the the first three. The snap holds well and is easy to use. The first three were all velcro and did not last under constant daily use. I wear my Wave on my belt everyday and I'm lost if I forget in the morning. I never thought I would use it as much as I do.

This is the best sheath that Leatherman ever made. I tried the nylon sheath with velcro but the velcro soon didn't hold very well so then I purchased the premium leather and had it less than a week till the belt loop came off and then a mole and that had a hole in it within 2 weeks. I've now had my nylon sheath for 3 years and just bought one for a friend.

Great quality and made in the USA. I got this as a Christmas gift for my son. He is an aerospace engineer student and thought it would be a good idea for him to have a good multitool on hand. I have a Leatherman too and keep it in my bag so I have it on hand all the time.

I've owned the Nylon and Leather sheaths both provided with Rebar, Super Tool 300, and Super Tool 300M purchases. I believe the Nylon sheath is more durable than the leather sheath, however, the Leather sheath has better aesthetics when holstered on the hip with a belt. After 3 months of utilizing the Leather sheath as a landscaper/maintenance worker, many scuffs have grown on the sheath but still serves it's purpose.

I like this case best of all that I have purchased over the years. Leatherman Wave fits nicely in the medium size. The snap closure seems more durable than the hook and loop (velcro) material . I like having no hole in the bottom of the case. The hole in the other cases is to allow the tool to be stored with pliers open but I don't use the tool that way.

Got the large for my ST300 because the Velcro sheath it came with was falling apart. It fits the ST300 really well. The snap closure is very secure. Definitely an upgrade from the Velcro. Would be nice to have a MOLLE strap for the sheath that would make it a little better and a little bit more comfortable in my opinion.
