it was my first experience with led/neon strips and this one was just fantastic, it turned out much brighter than i expected and super flexible. now i'll just have to learn how to solder and make figures with it. Keep in mind that you need to get a power supply separate

These were great for me! I didn do any cutting and soldering. I purposely made something that would work as one continuous length of lights. I cut off what I didn need at the end but that is the extent of my skills. It easily plugged into a 12v power supply I had on hand and I was so excited I just stuck it up on the wall to look at it. They are so bright, almost too bright. I going to buy a dimmer before I finish and move it to its final place.

So glad I came across these lights. Originally o was going to purchase plain LED strips but noticed in the reviews the the lights were pretty far apart. I love how these lights have a consistent flow. Definitely would purchase again for more diy projects.

These strips are plenty bright. However, I give them 4 stars based on short thin leads and an unusual configuration with the light strip being double width but only one side illuminates. Could be a 6 out of 5 for a specific application.

I like this product but it is pretty thick, and I wish it were thinner. It is not a circular tube, and is about 3 times deep as it is wide.I had no issues soldering the ends as the copper contacts are large enough.I wish they came with end caps for the multiple cuts most people will likely make. (My simple sign has 7 cuts in total).All in all I had fun with this, and my 3d printer was invaluable for printing the standoff clamps.

I love the light it puts off.... very uniform. The black wire was loose in the bag when it arrived. It can be soldered, but it's not easy. You have to very carefully carve out the filler material and you must have a precision pencil-point soldering tip. Took a few tries for the whole string to light.

I was very excited to receive this in the mail yesterday to finish my kids signs for there rooms with neon light so there able to be seen when dark and to double as my night lights, only to open the package and become instantly disappointed. There is NO 12v plug on the end of the lights. So unless you plan yo spend the extra money to buy one and have the knowledge and capability to wire and attach fhe plug in, I would search for other options. Additionally, if your wanting thin/smaller lights these are not for you. These are double stacked (but with lights only on one side) and protrude further then expected and wouldnt work well or look good for letters in my opinion. ULTIMATELY - I wish I would have gotten the ready to plug in rope light in stock at the store that was $10 - $12 vs having to buy and connect a wire for these one to be used!!!

Looks like it has been spared from someones pile of excess junk.

Can't buy the 12 volt adapter to make it work. Totally worthless for anything not automotive unless you have the 120 to 12 volt adapter , which doesn't come with it .
