The bench is lightweight and easy to move for vacuuming purposes, but it provides great storage and a comfortable place to sit. Packing had caused some wrinkles, but a low iron used on the reverse side of the fabric before attaching to the frame helped. This item is a great value, especially on sale! We did order 6-inch legs from Amazon and switched them for the original ones after deciding the bench looked too short in our room. The screws and holes worked fine for the replacement legs.
It has made such a beautiful addition to my living room. Much more luxurious looking then in its pictures. Very easy to put together and very sturdy. So beautiful.
Bought this so my dog could jump up on the bed and we don't have to use dog stairs. It's just what I was looking for the price is good! Nice to be able to store things inside of it as well
Granddaughter loves it! Used as a toy box for her bed room. Perfect color to match everything and is much bigger than the toy boxes sold and much prettier 🥰
Perfect for what I needed. More durable and well constructed then other reviews implied. Great for dress up chest.
It looks nice, it could be bigger with more storage. I can't fit much in there but, overall I like it. Easy to assemble and sturdy once built. Good value for the price paid.
This is a cute storage bench for out of the way spaces. I knew not to expect anything phenomenal with this - it is not "elegant" as some reviews have called it, and I would not use it in a high traffic area I think the description is really clear and I understood when I was purchasing it that there are NO SIDES on this bench. It's basically a metal frame that you build and slip a fabric cover over, with a solid top seat part and an insert for the bottom. I purchased it to store my sheets and am happy that they all fit with a little extra room. It's a pretty color, I wish it were a little brighter but I also knew it would be muted. All in all this is a nice item for what I intended it for at a reasonable price. I'll be dressing it up a little with a throw blanket and some pillows to get more of the style I really wanted. Just wanted to leave an honest and detailed review as I feel the ones before mine are lacking in both.
I would recommend it if you are looking for a cheap version of an ottoman bench. The frame is metal that you put together. The frame is solid, but the fabric that covers the bottom is nothing but a shell that is held in place at the bottom with velcro. The lid that covers the entire bench is solid, but the sides are literally just a piece of fabric sewn at the top, but open on the bottom. I'd take it back, but my husband just had surgery and I don't have the time or energy to take it back. This ottoman was purchased to go at the bottom of our bed for seating and storage. It would probably be okay in an area that doesn't get used much. Again, you get what you pay for. Lesson learned.
The velvet cloth that goes over the metal frame does not stay in place very well even with using the Velcro strips. Any weight by putting something inside the Ottoman stretches and moves it out of place. It is decent looking as long as you don't put anything in it or touch it. But to actually use, it will make the velvet move.
The ottoman is a huge piece of crap!!!! It has a material that goes over the frame that makes up the sides of the ottoman, which is the thinnest material super crappy!!!! The frame is sturdy...That's the only good thing about it. The frame one of the bolts that holds the leg onto was broken off. So there's a screw part that is on the base that you're supposed to screw the leg into and the screw was totally broken off...So you can't even screw the leg in.I'm just really disappointed in it.It looks like crap...😡
