I would give this a much higher rating if the manufacturer supplied information that I requested. I wrote to them asking this question: "I just need to know how many mg of iron is in 1 serving of 6 capsules. Thanks so much." It's important for me to know this because of a health issue. I need to make sure I'm getting enough iron daily. Well, this is the answer I received:
"Thank you for reaching out to Left Coast Support; we appreciate your inquiry.
Liver, kidneys, and heart are 3 of the 7 organs found in our Beef Organ Complex blend that are considered to be high in iron. Unfortunately, an analysis of the iron content has not been done for our Beef Organ Complex as advised by our Quality Team.
I apologize that I can't be of more assistance; we value your business and appreciate the opportunity to serve you well.
Have a great day!"
So why has an analysis of the iron content not been done for the Beef Organ Complex if it has been advised by their Quality Team? Something should be done about this. If that hasn't been done, how do I know about the quality of the product? Have other tests been conducted to insure that I'm getting what is listed on the bottle? I don't know. And actually, spleen has the highest iron content of all the organs listed in the bottle. Why don't they know this.
Anyway, if I could have received this information, I would have rated this product higher, but I can't give it a higher rating because I don't feel assured that I'm getting a good quality product.
