Leg Extension & Curl Machine, 570lb Capacity Home Gym Strength Trainer

First, it came well packaged and strapped. It's 90lbs so be prepared. The quality of the materials is nice and feels like it will last. I got this for my son's home gym. Everything you need to assemble is nicely labeled and packaged. He will get hours of use with this vs driving to a gym.

This leg extension and curl machine is sturdy, smooth, and built to handle tough workouts. The frame feels solid, the movement is comfortable, and it's easy to switch between leg extensions and hamstring curls. Also can do hip thrusts and kickbacks. It provides an excellent lower-body workout without taking up the space of a commercial gym. With its high weight capacity and durable construction, it's a great addition to any home gym for building strength and muscle. Much better than the generic one that comes attached to a bench press. Assembly about an hour only!

This leg extension and curl machine has been an excellent addition to my garage gym. It's sturdy, feels very stable during workouts, and the capacity gives me confidence that it's built to last. The movements are smooth, making both leg extensions and hamstring curls comfortable and effective. It doesn't take up an unreasonable amount of space, and it's helped me add more variety to my lower-body training without needing a commercial gym. Overall, it's a solid piece of equipment that's well worth it for anyone building a serious home gym.

This took me about an hour to assemble by myself with a 5/8 ratchet and wrench. It was very easy and everything lined up perfect. One of the adjustment knobs had a threaded insert that was broken and the knob was scuffed up a bit, but it still worked. The limiting stopped also needs to be about 1/2” longer so the pin and drop into the end of it, but that's no big deal. As far as use of the machine itself…eh…not so easy. The machine advertises 570 lb capacity, but the manual says not to load more than 150 on the weight plate holder, but that doesn't really matter for me. I've adjusted the seat up and down, back and forth, moved the arms all over the place, and for the life of me I can't get it to sit comfortably on my legs. I'm not a really tall guy (5'11”), but the pad lies about a third of the way up my shin as opposed to the front of the ankle, making any leg extensions quite irritating and frankly a little painful. I can only imagine how excruciating my normal 125 lb extension would be. As for leg curls, you need to remove the plug at the end of the plate holder as there's not enough clearance for it to swing back. Hip thrusts are just flat out awkward at my height as the pad lies in a weird spot and I can't get a full extension at a comfortable angle. It's almost as if the machine is missing one final adjustment point down on the bottom pad making everything clumsy and awkward. All of that being said…if you're maybe 5'6”-5'8” or under? You'll probably have a lot better experience with it. It's a well-made machine with a lot of adjustments, they just don't work that great for me specifically.
