Fire pit The fire pit box was very heavy on arrival. I would highly recommend you to open the box close to the location you decide to assemble and use it. The directions were very easy to follow. I put it together alone. It took me about 30 min alone. Extra bolts are provided in the event you lose any during the process of putting it together. And yes, I lost one. I only used one tool which is a Phillips screwdriver. The fire pit compliments the patio furniture I already owned. So it transitioned into my deck very easy. I placed my chairs around the fire pit. The fire pit isn't as high as a patio table but it is high enough to be able to place a drink around it if you happen to need a spot. There is a cover to protect the lava rocks and the burner when not in use. The entire fire pit is rather big. From one side to another providing ample space for everyone to comfortably enjoy it without sitting very close or under each other. The propane tank is hidden inside with the ease of ability to access the tank with one side installed with a door knob. The knob to control the temperature is on another side. There are three functions off, low and high. The design of the fire pit is nice and not overly exaggerated. It does come with lava rocks. It's just enough to cover the plate and not the burner. Be very careful placing the rocks because if they are overlapped, you will experience problems putting the cover back on when it's not in use. Because it rains in my area a lot, I will cover the fire pit when not in use. I'm sure it has the ability to withstand the seasonal elements of weather but I want to make sure this lasts as long as it can plus I don't want to run the risk of rain building up in the burner tray area.

We are so happy with this fire pit absolutely fell in love with it. We currently have a round 42" fire pit with four chairs around that our lanai is very large so we are setting up an additional sitting area with this square table fire pit with chairs and it's going to look fantastic. Assembly is going to be a breeze everything comes with it except for the tank of course. This also comes with a lid so it will be over the lava rocks and you can have this as a regular card table if you want. I would highly recommend this fire pit truly is well built easy assembly we just love it. Oh and it's also great for roasting marshmallows yum.

Very attractive piece. Fits in my back yard nicely. Few assembly issues and few issues with operation. The flame control has three settings but little difference between settings of medium and low. The high setting is exactly that, high. This unit has adjustable feet and worked well leveling on uneven patio stones. Panels did come with some minor dents but were easy to pop out. Just a shipping thing. Some of the screws are in tight places but overall, with the right tools, assembly doesn't really take that long. Instructions are adamant that the lid be kept on the rocks when not in use or the lava rocks will hold onto water, then, when exposed to heat will pop or shatter. Makes sense. The materials are light. It has been rained on several times and no signs of corrosion but there are some concerns about how the unit will weather over time. This unit does not come with a cover. Gas cylinder not included. Makes a great table for outdoor lunch on a break from yard work. Looking forward to having friends and family visit and share quality time outdoors, gathered around it, feeling the warmth and being hypnotized by its glow.

I was afforded the opportunity to try the Legacy Heating 28 inch Square fire pit in black wicker looking base and the table lid is included. I am so in love with this fire pit. It heats very well and can be used as a table. Perfect for anywhere outside.

Easy to assemble. Solid construction. Functions well. Clean, simple appearance.

To start, there were no directions on how to open the box. No open here, etc. Everything is very tight inside the box, with makes removing the metal panels rather difficult. Everything being so tight resulted in one edges of the panels being bent pretty good. It's thin metal, so my husband was able to straighten it out easily enough. Everything needs to be put together very loosely so that you can flex things to get other parts in place. Then you can tighten it all down. For one person to put this together, a magnetic tipped screw driver is a must. There are times that you need to need to hold panels in place and put a screw in. Doing it alone and without a magnetic tipped screw driver would be a real pain. Once we got the unit together, it heated very well. It's not going to sweat you out of an area on a really cold day, but it provides enough heat to be enjoyable. The first time we started it, there was a strong chemical odor from the paint or something burning off, but it dissipated pretty quickly. There should be just a few more rocks included to make the top look full. One other thing...the control knob "locks" after you hit each setting so you have to push in to move to a different heat setting. Not a big deal, it just isn't mentioned anywhere in the manual. It's not super sturdy, so I don't know how long it will last but it will look nice while it does.

Love how simple this is. The lava rocks were not nearly enough to cover the flame and if you add more on top of the burner the lid wont close. A flawed design for sure.

This came damaged and still have not heard back from them after I had to fill out a ticket number still no reply
