haven't played it yet. originally $19 was on sale for $10 so i bought it. my son loves racing games. gave this 5 stars for the price. I see now that someone bought all the rest that were on sale and is now charging over $22 when originally these were $19. its sad that people do that, just get a real job instead. try to contribute to the world instead of just taking. i hope no one buys this from the 3rd party seller.
Solid arcade racer with a cool mechanic where your vehicle automatically transforms between a car, off-road truck, and boat depending on the terrain. Controls are easy to pick up and the open world has plenty to explore — races, challenges, mini-games across multiple themed maps. Honest caveat: I've only played a few times and it hasn't totally hooked me yet. Could be that I haven't given it enough time, so take that with a grain of salt. The humor is fun and silly in a good way, works for kids and adults alike. One heads-up: the microtransactions are hard to miss at full retail price, though you can ignore them. Overall a fun game — I suspect it gets better the more you invest in it. Recommended with that in mind.
I'm very pleased with this game. the Switch edition of this game is able to host personal game lobbies locally with other players who also own on the switch BUT ALSO NOTE.....ANYONE WHO OWNS THIS GAME THE GAME IS ONLINE CROSSPLAY ACROSS EVERY GAMING PLATFORM. as you progress in the game you can build and race your cars online they allow you in game to download community builds of this game act fast while this game is available the games online finctions go offline June 2027 a dad thing to see because.....THIS GAME IN MY PERSONAL OPINION IS A VERY SPECIAL GAME TO ANYONE WHOLE LOVE ☆☆☆MARIO KART SHOOTING ITEMS WHILE RACING OPPONENTS. CAREER MODE HAS MINI GAMES TO UNLOCK AND BEAT RIVALS ON AND OFFLINE BATTLE MODE VS. RACING THE GAME ALSO AS YOU DRIVE INTO WATER YOU CAN BUILD AND RACE BOATS LIKE IN THE OLDER ARCADE GAME ☆☆☆" HYDRO THUNDER AND THE OPEN WORLD RACING AND EXPLORING OF A Forza Horizon experience for any who enjoy all 3 or even 1 ,2, or all 3 of these game highly recommend you try this one out dont sleep on this title its a truly special game i personally own about 400 games on the switch personally love this game truly local lobbies also consist of hostimg between 4-8 players race or battle mode.
This is a fun Lego game overall! The driving in the game is of course fun and the customization that you can make to your vehicles will make them unique. The different in world environments make the game unique and challenging. The game would make a great gift for a kid or adult who likes Legos and racing genres!
My boys have had so much fun creating with this game! They brainstorm off screen and sketch ideas, then create them on the game. It's been so fun! We have also really enjoyed learning about the areas where the courses are. From 4 to 13, they are all having a great time.
It's a neat arcade style racing game. It's quite silly in it's dialogue and gameplay, a good game for kids, and adults who want something fun. The biggest downsides so far are no Switch 2 edition so the graphics are quite basic and rough... performance is good on switch 2 tho. The game got de-listed from digital stores and the servers are going down this year or next... so multiplayer will be dead soon. I don't know how it affects single player. The game has a TON of micro transactions, it seems you can earn at least some of them through grinding for currency but I'm not sure if that will continue to work when the servers go down. So basically proceed with caution but if you get it cheap $5-10 it's definitely still a fun game.
Super fast shipping from Walmart. My son loves this game and I simply couldn’t pass it up for 10 dollars. Although I am not a fan of the mega micro transactions that this game has, the base game is fantastic and perfect for LEGO fans and racing fans alike.
I picked this up on discount and have been playing on my Switch 2. There's a lot of content and a nice change of pace from Mario Kart. There is a free roam mode and a leveling up system to keep players engaged. I noticed some hiccups in performance but not enough to detract from the overall experience. Voice acting is fun and makes you feel part of the lego world. If you find this on a deal and want something more than a Mario Kart clone, I think you'll like it.
This seems like a decent game. The controls are a bit strange for me. Which makes it difficult to get through some of the events to progress the story mode. It does seem overly complicated in parts, like the garage to edit vehicles or make your own. I kind of understand why you need a Lego or 2K account for online.
I’d give this game about a 6/10. It’s not amazing, but it’s not bad either. The gameplay is pretty simple and can get repetitive after a while, but it’s still fun enough to mess around with for a few hours. The biggest plus is the price—if you pick it up cheap, it’s definitely worth it. You can get a decent amount of playtime out of it without feeling like you wasted your money. Overall, it’s a solid budget game. Just don’t go in expecting anything too deep or groundbreaking.
