I have the complete set from the 80's. So I had to get it. The only thing that was disappointing was that on the older sets, the sections could be disconnected and reconnected to other sets. This one does have disconnecting sections but it will not connected with the older 80's sets. They have a different connecting setup.

Blacktron is back!
I was a fan of the original Blacktron sets in my Youth, and this is a modern update of Lego Set 6894 Which I still own and have on display in my home. Building this set was awesome, the instructions were clear, and it has all the playability of the Original. After much swooshing around with it, I intend to place it on display with it's predecessor. I absolutely recommend this set.

Retro Gift
This was something I hadn't seen since I was a kid. I love the segments to make other ships and the various moving parts for a deep space mission.

Entertaining with a challenge!
Our Grandson loved it! He goes to his room and quietly puts any Legos he has together. He asked for this one and loved it a lot.
