LEGO 40715 Alien Pack 181pcs

The Alien Pack is an interesting addition to Space themes. Its first attraction for AFOL Space fans is the person in a Classic Space suit, plus it was discounted. The astronaut is what made me choose the set when I was ordering other sets and it is what makes it better than its companion set. The 6 aliens and piece of scenery contain a few new and interesting pieces, which is always welcome. I bought 2 sets, enough to make a feature on a Space layout. My only complaint is that the gas bottles of the astronaut are black rather than the white colour that would go with their uniform. I wasn't sure why the train wheels were used; maybe it was just 1-piece wheels rather than needing wheels with tyres. The width of the vehicle would be too much for the roller-coaster track, even if the wheels are compatible with that. Nevertheless a fun kit to add to a Space theme and I'd be happy to buy more sets like it.

This set is a must have for your Lego space layout. It goes great with all the new space sets. And to make it even better it has a flashback style space minifigure from the days of my childhood! The aliens are unique and fun, and whenever you have a Lego environment for your ships and vehicles it binds them together into a wonderful cohesive world. It is almost (but not quite) as good as the old days of crater plates and landing plates. And the figure easily binds the old Lego space world with the new Lego space worlds of today.

This set is was a quick fun build and gave me great ideas on how to use existing pieces in fun new ways. I set these up on a little table as a fun fidget station for my son. He loves disassembling them and mix & matching them

A fun, decorative group of models ideal to brighten up an area. Can easily be swapped about to keep the area fresh and can entertain visiting children.

Grandson loves them, Best thing since slice bread.

This is a cute creative way to show how to use blocks in different ways than they are normally built for. Great addition to the space sets.

I really enjoyed this set. I loved the creative ways that different creatures were created. I built five of them at once and now I have all these cool little aliens. I switched around some of the pieces on the variants. This is a really cool little set with lots of pieces AND Classic Space person! I also got a lot of 'extra' pieces!

This build turned my fingers green, I hope when we meet the aliens they have pink flowers for ears and huge eyes

I will first acknowledge this with review the fact that I am not a child but a hobbyist I purchased the set for the terrain piece it provides but while I love the idea of blurring the line between fauna and flora these aliens drop off. They look more like green robots, I think because of the complete lack of most limbs. So if your just wanting to build this set. I wouldn't recommend this one but it's sister set "Alien Planet Habitat" but if you are a child or buying this for a child or are willing to build your own aliens. this set provides a lot of alien pieces and combined with the superior sister set of "Alien Planet Habitat" provides a lot of creative opportunity to make your own aliens. To emphasise my point, I have provided an image of two of the alien that come from this set and three that I have made from the pieces from this and its sister set and an extra two pieces from the Mec set
