LEGO 40716 Alien Planet Habitat 206pcs

This is a very nice little set for such a good value. While this is coded as a space theme, the set is overall very functional and aestheticlly pleasing and it alien nature vibes can make it fit into a fantasy world or an alternate earth. The terrain is wonderful and the aliens are very cute. I hope that Lego looks into making more just like this. I would honestly buy another one to practice making different terrain and aliens and the price is very reasonable to do that.

I've loved sci-fi since I was a kid, so being able to create my own little alien landscape is exciting. I purchased this set and a couple of the sets with the same theme when they first came out. Now that they're retiring soon and discounted, I bought two more of this one so that I can enlarge my alien landscape ! It's just so fun and colorful!

Space is sooo back. The creativity on display in the Space lineup never ceases to amaze me lately. This set is no slouch in that department either. The creature design are fanciful, and I love the running "crystal/plant/battery" theme of the current Space lineup. These little guys (and the vegetation/rock formations) are dispersed throughout my other Space sets. I love how the line between flora and fauna is blurred. This set pairs well with the Alien Pack set I might add.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My granddaughter and I put this little set together in so many different ways, and we got its sister set a week later. It is nice to have smaller sets to evaluate and have the option to expand if you like as we did with the Alien Pack 40715 then Alien Planet Habitat 40716 . Some sets are so huge that it can be overwhelming to pull out an encyclopedia sized instruction manual. This sized set is very easily managed. Good Job on these.

A small enough box for a Christmas stocking but enough pieces to make it a good build.

This set is almost exactly what I wanted. More aliens and more terrain. The terrain is basically perfect but well I do love the blend between fauna and flora, They're going with. The two smaller aliens in this set look a little bit too much like just small green robots I think that is because of the lack of limbs as the larger one well looking a little bit Goofy is not what I imagined the bigger aliens would look like, but is almost better than what I came up with because they've blurred the line between the animals and plants and that was a true stroke of genius for creativity and for playability for the kids.

This great little build is an overlooked gem that will greatly enhance your new Space environment. As someone who loved classic space as a kid and had a large layout, I can attest to the value of little habitats that this provide. They bring together your vehicles and spaceships into a cohesive world. Enjoy! The only thing lacking in this set is a Space Minifigure, but the wonderful variety of alien parts almost makes up for it.

The set was good and I like the diffrent aliens I think lego should put some play fuctions into the set for next time

Fun little set looks great by my tv. The alien are cute, not scary. Using leaf and flower bit, to make them go so well with habit build.
