Especially, when on sale this is a great gift set. You get 2 figures, but because it is a clothing shop you get extra shirts. Which makes this a great value. The build technique for the roof is interesting and would be possible for an older child to recreate with other Legos. The shop/house is nice with the levered roof helping to make placing figures much easier. The tiny sunglasses and hats are comical, but will easily be lost. I did get an extras of those. The only real down side is the grass plates. Lego really cheaps out and you only get tiny circles of grass. I put both flowers under the window so the other grass area was open. (This is a problem with Lego being cheap on base plates.) I recommend Strictly Bricks for additional base plates. Overall this is an especially good value for little figures and I would recommend this one in the Animal Crossing Line. The actual figures are from a Video Game that people might play so it's like 2 toys in 1.

I purchased this for my niece. she was so excited that she started putting it together as soon as she got it. it's a great size and seems to be made of great material. the instruction booklet is very easy to understand and makes it easy for her to put together.

As someone who does not have a lot of experience with legos, I thought this was brilliant packaging and instructions. The way they have the bags broken down into the various steps is so helpful to keep this build from being overwhelming. The instruction manual is very heavy, glossy paper and stays open easily on the table while you are building. The instructions themselves are so easy to follow. A wonderful introduction to the world of Legos!

I wasn't sure what to expect, but this product is so cute! I was super happy when I opened the box and saw a very detailed step by step guide as well as the matching pieces bagged and numbered. There are a lot more pieces than I expected, but super happy about it. I thought a lot would be put together, but ended up being a fun activity the family could enjoy putting together!

I have a daughter in to 5-7 age range, and she absolutely loved this set. She loves animal crossing and going to the Able sisters to talk and buy clothes. This set was right on theme and she loved the wall art inside as well. It's big enough that she can play, but they kept the price point reasonable for the set.

These pieces are perfect for an older kid, but may be too much for a typical 6 year old. If a kid that age uses, it would be useful for an adult to help. All in all, this was a really good value.

The Animal Crossing Able Sisters Clothing Shop is a fun and creative set. It has the animal crossing feel but in a lego format. The accessories are fun and allow customization. The characters also have unique builds.

This is a fun build. The round tree trunk pieces are a little difficult to place, but with trial and error, a kid can get them to stay put. The roof pops off easily, so the store objects can be rearranged. Great details on the sewing machine and the butterfly. The details on the flat bricks are stamped. The elements can be rearranged for imaginative play. It footprint is small enough for display.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a huge animal crossing fan so was really excited to build this! To start it's Lego so the quality is there as it is with all their build kits. Instructions were clear to follow and it took a good amount of time. It was really enjoyable to build and is a clever piece. I would say the suggested age seems accurate for a first build. Very happy with this kit and will be going on display alongside my other lego pieces.

Since I was eight years old, Animal Crossing has been my favorite game. New Horizons has since become my favorite version and I have purchased every ACNH set that lego has released so far. That being said, I have some notes. I've loved the easter eggs like trees and rocks that open, and the printed elements like the cracks in the ground and KK albums. I think it's super vital that bugs and fish are included (so far it's been a few different butterflies, one kind of spider, the generic lego fish, a crab, and a hermit crab). There is an unfortunate lack of beetles/more of the interesting bugs, and really any of the unique fish that you can catch in the game like sunfish. It is cool that all of the tools in the game show up as pieces. One of my major gripes is that four of the sets so far have come with a tea party... I really don't think we need this many tea parties and that it is a cop out to keep producing these instead of providing more customizability through other items. I'd like to see a dinosaur skeleton, gyroids, or brick built pieces from some of the more iconic furniture sets that you can collect in game (fruit furniture? antique furniture?). I do think that this new wave of sets (Jan 2025) do a better job of introducing some variety- yay no tea parties- but I wish Sable was included and I'm hoping that lego releases a set at some point where you can customize your own character because that's a huge part of the game. It'd be super cool to have a few different faces and hairstyles to choose from along with clothes. My normal lego minifigs look kind of weird alongside the animal crossing characters. Being able to have your own house that can be built at different stages of being paid off would also be really fun. I'm looking forward to adding the museum to my collection (this would be a great time to introduce more variety in bugs and fish!), along with Redd and Brewster. Timmy and Tommy would also be a welcomed addition along with OG villagers like Lucky, Lily, and Coco.
