LEGO Architecture 21006 - White House

The White House Lego is a wonderful piece. I ordered this for my nephews to put together Thanksgiving Day. I was pleasantly surprised how great it looked when it was finished. I plan to purchase another one for my kido's collection.

This set was purchased as a Christmas present. However, I only purchased it because it was on sale. I think that the normal retail price is expensive compared to the size of the kit.

This was a gift to my 9 year old grandson. He loves Legos and enjoyed putting this one together. I personally cannot rate this. He specifically asked for this for his birthday.

My son is 15 and still loves his Legos. He seems to have every Star Wars set ever made and most of the other sets feel too young for him at this point. The architecture sets are perfect and educational.

As a family, we buy architectural Legos of buildings that we've visited. We love Legos.

My daughter enjoyed this but tough to put together

I bought White House for my daughter for her 13th birthday. This was her first Lego Architecture model and it took her about 4-5 hours to build (she did not receive any help). She enjoyed the experience and provided me some pros and cons for this review. Below, is a summary of the review from her perspective: Likes/Pros: - Had fun building it, lots of variety in the building tasks (not too much tedium). - Overall appearance of the finished product was good. - The pieces fit together well, did not come apart in places while building. Dislikes/Cons: - Didn't like the trees - they were way too "blocky" and proportionally too big. - Somewhat challenging, but wanted more challenge

I thought the package would be bigger and the pieces would be smaller. When I first got the package I thought It was too expensive for what I was getting. The cashier said most have the same reaction when they first get their package.
