Superior . I purchased this for a 7 yr old lego fanatic . He put it together in 45 min . He was so proud . The city was spectacular . It was a learning tool ( map , city , state ) and a fun Activity in covid lock down times . I have started the city collection for him to keep him busy ! The age recommended for this city is 12 yr .
I'd originally skipped over this set in the skyline series, mostly due to the inclusion of the Wynn... I just feel like that's far from one of the "iconic" landmarks of Las Vegas... Then Christmas came, and I received the set as a gift. While the other buildings are also nicely done, the real star here is the Bellagio... Very clever design and build technique. Kudos to the designer(s) on that one specifically. Overall, this was a fun set and another solid addition to the skyline series.
I enjoy this LEGO set very much. As an adult, it was a joy to assemble and admire.
This is a good representation of the Las Vegas Strip, however, I feel that the order must be adhered to for it to be a true representation. It has correct order with the exception of the Luxor (pyramid). One can correct this problem by completely building the set followed by some rearranging of pieces. Here's a pic of my attempt to correct the set.
I'm really happy with the landmarks used in this set. If my memory serves me right, I believed I have stayed in all the resorts that are featured in the set. My dad loved going to Vegas and this set reminds me of the great times he and I and my sister had in Vegas. It was very difficult to figure out how to move the Luxor to the leftmost, and at the same time preserving the blue color of the water fountain in front of Bellagio. Through many trials and errors and taking apart the individual bricks multiple times, I finally managed to put it together.
For me it was a must to buy this Set. Because i was several Times in Las Vegas..and as a Lego Fun. it was very nice to build and the Buildings looks like in Las Vegas. I love to build something what you know. its good for the nice Memories that you have from holidays. they are a lot of small pieces in the Set. So for that the price is a little too much. But ovrall it was fun to build and now it comes in a Show Case and i could always have memories about the City. if you ever was in Las Vegas und you are a Lego Fan...buy it.
I loved it really was a stress reliever for me. I loved how simple it was and how I was able to finish this so quickly.
This particular Lego is no longer in production. I was able to purchase it for my Grandson. This was on his wish list. I am excited to see his face when he sees it.
Nice how creative for example the curved Wynn tower was approximated! I just had to put the Luxor at the beginning so the real life order corresponds!
I purchased this as my second adult build, having started with the McLaren Senna. I got this as my favourite holiday was to Las Vegas for my 21st. Whilst I appreciate there are so many options for inclusion on a relatively small piece, I do feel that regardless of what is included it should be as accurate as possible and the hotel placement on this is off. I am pleased the Bellagio has been included, not only because this is where I stayed but because the hotel and its fountains are iconic on the strip. I feel as a newer hotel the Encore could have been replaced with the Mirage, Treasure Island or Venetian. For the most part the instructions were easy to follow but did find that certain bits are quite similar and there could have been a better way to distinguish these. Overall an enjoyable build and I am looking forward to purchasing other sets from the architecture range... even if they are a bit inaccurate ;)
