Totally worth the money I think I wouldn't say it was a fun build as your dealing with really tiny pieces buy build time wasn't that long I was able to get this done in a day while in lock down also visually it's a masterpiece stunning piece to put on your Wall for any iron Man fan 10000% I really hope Lego come out with all the other avengers as well as Thanos would look so cool
This is an awesome build and caters to an adult audience - this isn't for playtime, but to create something cool you can hang on your wall. Comes with 15 different colours and looks even better in person than with the pictures. Very easy instructions (like painting by numbers) for a very relaxing build experience. Expect to spend about 1-2 hours per square while building (9 squares total). For those wondering how big it will be, you can just fit the completed picture in the box. As for the other comment about not being able to find the 'master build' instructions online, they are available. click on the 'build instructions' link and you will see two PDFs - one is the instructions it comes with (for the 3 individual builds) and the other is for the master build. the only thing i wish is that they came out with a vertical master build.
For Marvel fans, this is a beautiful piece of art. It is elegant, mature, and fits into any home. Lego Arts itself is an interesting concept whereby with enough imagination, vision, and art skill you can "draw" anything you want. That in itself is a definite buy for me as in investment for the future. The build experience is little lower for me because I find it a bit mind numbing in that you are just matching the "pixel" and not really "building" something like your usual Lego blocks. However, they overcame the issue with a podcast which was pretty cool and interesting to listen to while you build. As a feedback, I feel if it also came with Iron Man movie soundtracks, it will be really cool, and will definitely boost the overall experience.
I wouldn't be too fazed by the age recommendation of 18+. My son is a big Marvel fan as well as Lego. He arranged al the dots into different tubs and then set about following the instructions, unaided by me. This will go on his wall - he is chuffed to bits that he made it and the finished result does look amazing.
This was a really enjoyable build didn't take long to do. I have a few gripes with this item.1. the soundtrack in no way adds to the experience I was expecting either music from the movies or inspired by, what I got was talk which don't get me wrong is great, but doesn't help me concerntrate on the build. 2. It would be useful if the bags had numbers on them not just the pages. As someone who's colour blind I found it a little difficult to tell the difference between some of the colours to start with so numbers would be helpful. Other than that a really good piece of art. Definitely thinking about picking up 3 more and building the large one.
The Lego art was amazing and a fun activity for the kids. We bought three sets so that we can make all the variations of Iron Man and take it apart to make the big landscape version if we wanted to. However, after building it we sort of liked the three separate Iron Mans so kept it as is. Might just have to wait for another sale to get another three sets....We hung them up right away and it looks great in our Lego play room. I rated it four stars because the box did come a little damaged from delivery but nothing to do with the product.
Not the most complicated build. In fact I would not use the manual and just go off the box photo to make it more challenging. Overall though it was a total joy to make. It really comes to life as you build it. The final product is second to none. It looks amazing from up close and far away. Personally I think for the creativity of the piece it's worth the money.
Honestly, really want to build the master build of this but I can't justify the price of buying 2 more of these when they are already pretty pricey but I had such a relaxing time making this set and it looks amazing next to my captain america shield (would love to see some Cap lego sets next please!!) It took me about 4 hours or so to build in one sitting where I listened to the "soundtrack" which is just a podcast and then after that finished I put on the endgame soundtrack. The set itself arrived in some snazzy packaging and was really simple and easy to build, it's just paint by numbers! Definetly reccomed splitting up the colours and I've read a lot of people saying it should come with a seperator but I just use small cups to pop them in.
As soon as I learned about this particular LEGO Art, I knew I had to buy it. Wait, I knew I had to buy 3, to be exact, as I really thought the Ultimate Build was what I wanted. I really thoroughly enjoy the concept of making a big one, out of the 3 identical sets. I think it's very smart, & hassle free indeed. However, by the time I finished placing the last few tiles, I knew that I would still have QUITE A LOT of unused tiles. I wonder what I should do with them...... The building process is rather straightforward, & should suit a vast majority of players. The end product is just amazing, plus I don't have to worry as much as if I needed to find yet another big space like my LEGO TECHNIC Lamborghini!!!! Overall, I really love it!! Suggest having another LEGO Art on Bruce Lee!!! I think it will sell well!!!
