Legos never get old. I bought it for my 15 year old son. His first 1600 piece Lego set ever. It took him a day and half to put together, and this set, he intends to keep together as a model on display. He has truckloads of Legos, but intends to use this one with a Lord of the Rings set he's saving up to buy in 2013. Cute animals, birds, working parts. Girls would enjoy this as much as boys, and any dollhouse type enthusiast as well. My son has allowed several little girls to play with it, and they've enjoyed it like a miniature dollhouse type toy. Good set, and well priced.
One of the best castle sets lego has created in a long time. Children and adults can play with this set for hours.
My teen son is really enjoying this set. Over a thousand pieces, plenty to keep him busy for a good long time. I know its kind of expensive, but well worth it if you have a lego fan to buy a special gift for.
i can let you that some lost of part little lego. but we have some same part lego. my grandson want more order very old lego because he really want it . but he really love play keep it.
My 11 year old son loved it, it's a great gift , good price
The order was easy to make. The delivery was very prompt. Thank you Walmart
this was given as a gift and made someone very happy on christmas day :)
The Lego Medieval Castle is probably the coolest Lego set I've built with my eight year old son yet. And we've built A LOT of sets. He loves it too. There are so many realistic pieces that other sets do not have. The following has nothing to do with the Lego set itself, but shame on Walmart. This set was ordered as a gift from Santa. It was delivered with absolutely no packaging at all. We hear a knock at the door, open the door, and there on our porch lies a Lego Medieval Castle set. My son briefly saw it and yelled is that a Lego set? Not only did he see it, but what's to keep anyone from stealing it off the porch? Doesn't anyone have any sense these days?
this is an excellent lego set my twelve year old loves it
The product itself is great, but the packaging is not good. Normally for the bigger sets, Lego has the blocks divided into smaller numbered bags and the instructions tell you which bag to use for which part. This set does not do that. You have to empty out the entire 1601 piece set to get started. The pieces for one part might be found in 5 different bags.
