This was purchased for my five year old Grandson who is a Lego Head!. He doesn't know he has this yet. I purchased it because of the price. However, I have never missed with a gift.
very well made. my grandson loves the City Legos. they are super fun for him. He is 9 and spends hour putting them together and playing with them.
My son loves anything Lego, just don't step on them in the middle of the night. He is autistic, and his imagination can go wild with Legos.
Great price! Purchased as a gift for 6 year old and he loved it! Lego set kept him entertained for hours not only putting together but playing with cars after.
I couldn't find both Lego sets at the same store except at Walmart and the price was the same. It was nice to be able to make one trip instead of ordering from two different stores.
I find this new sub-theme fascinating as I'm all in for creativity in slice-of-life events, and I've thought of some new designs for these downhill soapbox racers. 1. A Steam Engine 2. A Ship (Pirate, Viking or Modern) 3. A Space Shuttle 4. Police (Since you have Firefighting and a Hospital-themed cars) 5. A Chariot or Stagecoach (or something to put a toy horse out in front) 6. A Racer designed to look like a Hover-Horse from "Nexo Knights" 7. A "Ninjago"-themed Racer 8. A "Friends"-themed Racer 9. A Bulldozer 10. Either a Speedor or the Lion Legend Beast from "Legends of Chima" How do those sound to you?
I bought this for my grandson because he saw the photo of the hospital bed race car and broke out laughing. He loves Lego sets, and this is one of the smaller Lego sets, yet the package has two cars to put together, and the wheels turn easily, so they really can race. Excellent choice, and may be a great gift for a child who is in the hospital or coming home from a hospital visit, since one of the cars is a hospital bed.
Our family absolutely loves this set. We also bought the a few other soap box car sets. It's simple and yet SO much fun. My son loves the Hospital bed while my daughter loves the Airplane. Our family hopes Lego will continues this line with more great releases. My children really enjoyed the quick easy builds, I enjoy the detail to each cart and we're having tons of fun family time with the finished product.
Bought this for my grandson he absolutely loves Legos. We were pretty disappointed in this set, it had some missing pieces in both package's. He really likes the sets and we tried to take them back but Walmart had no more in the shelf, ( which being out of things is more and more common). So he wanted to keep them and go through his Lego's at home and see if he can find some pieces that will work.
It pretty little didn't keep my child's attention for even a hour and took my son like 5 min to build
