I bought this set a month ago and I think it's a good set. PROS Good minifigure. Good vehicle. All the tools and accessories an explorer needs. CONS The set does not come with any fossils for the explorer to discover. The set is good because it has all the tools an explorer needs and a good vehicle but in my opinion the only thing missing from the set was a fossil for the explorer find because this is the only artic set of this year that does not come with any fossils for the explorer find until the polybag 30360 Arctic Ice Saw has a fossil. I recommend buying this set.
From time to time, I like to surprise my son with a Lego gift. These small boxes are the ideal option to complement the larger boxes that he receives on important dates.
This is a great set and has added to my collection with it's unique colour scheme, it looks good when displayed.
Nice small set. I was able to put it together w/o using instructions, just by looking at front & back of box. Give it a try! Comes with saw & walkie accessories and also a pair of snow shoes. Minifig has winter hat, goggles (painted), & white hands. The Sled is a bit bigger than I was expecting. It has a fan blade in the back that spins easily with a little air flow and skis to glide on. Goes great with older arctic sets. I recommend this set, especially w/o instructions, not too challenging..
It has a very cool cockpit!!! Plays well on different surfaces. Very impressed!!!
One of the first builds, this was not a huge challenge for my daughter and helped build her confidence to work on more challenging sets later. She didn't need any help, and kind of went off into her own world while building. She had no idea how the pieces would make the picture on the box, and was extremely happy with the results.
This is a pretty cool set. The ice glider is very cool and unlike anything LEGO has ever come up with. The skis move, all-terrain style, which is really cool. It is the only Arctic set that does not come with a fossil, though. The explorer is pretty standard, but I like the face. The big radar dish in the back used as a propeller mounting is awesome. The opening cockpit is cool, and I like the way the way the minifigure leans back. But the best part is how they pack all the accessories in. I love sets that include vehicles or structures with equipment clips, and this set's equipment storage is the best that they come. On the one the left side of the ski mounting two tracking beacons are stored. On the other side is a hook for two snowshoes. On the left side of the back of the cab is a cool handheld ice saw, and on the other is a handheld walkie-talkie. To top it all off, the GPS goes on the back of the seat. Talk about space planning! Epic set! Five stars!
The product is a lego set. I bought it online at Walmart with total confidence the price would be the same or lower than competitors. WRONG. I walked into the LEGO Store at Mall of America and found out I had overpaid by 50. $159.99 at LEGO, Same at Target, and I paid $220 plus. I would like to understand how to get the difference refunded!!
high price small toy
Item cancelled!!! No reason give !!! Very upsetting!!
