My 4.5 and 2.5 year old sons had a blast helping build this set. The truck has a very modern feel, can carry 4 cars and feels overall quite robust. It quickly became their favourite set. The only thing that doesn't look right is the windshield. It should be a perfectly vertical windshield to make it look more realistic.
Review from a 5 year old: The best part is the front of the truck that can go forward so you can fix the engine and the trailer that goes up and down. Review from a not-5 year old: Same! Only downside is the way the wheels are set up, it's a little difficult trying to make the truck turn as you play and the cars can't easily get on and off the trailer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely loved building this lego set with my 9 and 12 year old. The set comes with 3 cars that fit in the back end of the truck. It also comes with people. Both my kids found the instructions very useful and I barely had to help. The new bags are also now paper not plastic, so better for the environment to! Would absolutely recommend this car Transporter for children over 7 years. Will have hours of fun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The set was a joy to assemble. The instructions were straightforward, and the process was satisfying for both myself and my children. We worked on it together, which became a bonding experience as they followed along step-by-step. The build is detailed but manageable, and the finished transporter truck and sports cars look fantastic with vibrant colours and moving parts. The level of precision in the design ensured all pieces fit perfectly, creating a sturdy and functional final product. Interaction and Role Play: Once the set was complete, my children immediately started crafting their imaginative play scenarios. The transporter truck features a ramp that can load and unload cars, sparking countless role-play ideas. They took turns being "drivers" of the sports cars and "truck operators" ensuring the vehicles were transported safely across the "city." The set encouraged team work and problem solving as the kids worked together to load the cars onto the transporter correctly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this for my nephew for his birthday. And while it is a decent kit, I was disappointed to learn that the speed, champions cars do not fit on it! Apparently, this model is six studs wide while most speed champions cars are eight studs wide! Don't really know why Lego didn't build it slightly bigger, cuz they really missed out on a great chance to sell more of these. Because I know that I probably would've bought one for myself if I could display my modest collection of SC cars on it! Anyway, if you don't care about that this is a still a great kit ! i like it 😊
he loves it
Bought this for my son but I like it also, especially the hot rod car that I had to build it myself 🙂 I like that orange car is the same model as 60448 and ofcourse we had to add it to the collection 🙂
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For my first ever Lego build I thoroughly enjoyed building this Lego car transporter. However, I tried to involve my 3.5 year old son in assisting to build it but I found there were to many fine pieces that could easily be lost if I was to take my eyes and concentration of the build. He did however enjoy playing with the finished product. The car transporter has a strong and sturdy build structure and has a good range of bright colourful sections. The instructions were very easy to follow and each section was partitioned into its own envelope.
Lego box was all banged up. Didn't come in a separate box, poor packaging. Other items ordered (under $40) were in a separate box, this one costs over $100 and no secure packaging.
When the box came, it was totally mangled. It's a gift for my grandson for Christmas and I don't even know if anything is broken or not embarrassed to give it.
