We bought this set for our son's 6th birthday as he is stating to really enjoy Lego and is a fan of trains. He really loves it! We built it together and it was the biggest set we've done, but the build was full of interest and variety which kept him engaged throughout and he was rightfully chuffed with the end result. Once built there are plenty of lovely and fun details such as the lift and cafe which he and his younger sister really enjoyed playing with it. Overall we're very happy with it and would recommend

I love this set everyday i play with it i love all the figures and the detalis and all the cool stuff it includes like 6 minifigs plus a cool baby in a stroller the elevator works great like it should only problem is i wish you could have a small train but I get it lego then it would make the price higher:) Overall if you are looking for a gift for a person who loves this stuff then you found it 10000000% recommend thanks Lego!

I didn't understand most of the feedback about the back being open and the “cramped” feeling some described I personally loved this set. I got it to go with the Spider-Man subway set and it fits nicely. Perfect for adding city figures too a very lively piece in my collection. Nice features and loved the building process. Overall gotta give props to the designer of this set.

I'm a big fan of this train station. It has a lovely color palette and a lot of nice design choices. Although not a flawless design, IMO, it's still a real looker and will be an ideal place for my Christmas train to park. Thanks Lego!

On building this set this build was very good. It was enjoyable and great techniques were used. And it fits proudly in my Lego city. Overall, I recommend this.

This looks absolutely amazing. Truly colourful and inspiring to build. It is a present for Christmas so not yet constructed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lego City Central Train Station kit was actually so much fun to put together. At first I thought it was too big, it would be tedious. I've only ever done smaller sets before. But honestly by the third bag (of seven) I was sailing. Did it take me a chunk of the day? Yes. But it was worth it. It's built well enough that it feels durable enough to play with which is great because this set has playability! The elevator actually lifts. The car goes down the track. There's an office, a coffee shop and even pigeons on the roof! My four year old was looking at it with great big eyes and you know what? I'm gonna let him play with it. I love the inclusive little people. There's a man with a baby, a working woman, a barista and a man with forearm crutches. People you'd see in real life! 10/10 great set. Not difficult to build. Playable and a fun time.

It's super durable and he plays with it all the time now that it's completed. It's safe enough starting at age 7, but may be a little difficult to complete by themselves. We are ready to build our next Lego set.
