Overall, this set is a good addition to any size LEGO collection. The rockfall feature works fantastic, it simulates the rumbling of a train through a tunnel and gradually drops the boulders after enough wheels pass the plate. (the pushrod may require a bit of fine-tuning to properly drop the rocks) It provides a good basis for adding your own scenery expansions or combining with other LEGO trains for even more storytelling or roleplay opportunities and adventures. All in all, a good set with a reasonable price point for a set containing electronic components and endless play opportunities.

I've been thinking about getting a lego train for many years but never did until now, and my expectations were blown away! Very high quality and user friendly system. The remote and train connect almost instantly just by turning them on. Having 10 speed control over the train in each direction is super handy. The boulder feature of this set is very cool and doesnt use too many pieces. The extensive side builds and many figures add a lot to the set as well, completing the landscape and the story. When you factor in the fact that this comes with tons of very large and very specialized pieces AND comes fully powered up, this is undeniably a great deal. 10/10 will be buying more lego trains

We have bought this Lego trainset for our Grandson for Christmas. He asked for some Lego and an electric trainset. He adores Lego and this combines two gifts. Thank you! It's especially good as it also came with the Northern Lights free gift. He will love it.

My Grandson asked me to get a Lego Train Set for his birthday November 12th . I live in Louisiana and he lives in Michigan. It is so convenient for me to order gifts for him and it is delivered same day or the next day. My Daughter takes pictures of him receiving his Lego Train Set on his Birthday! Walmart delivery service is Awesome !! :-)

Received on time as a gift for my child for his birthday. I love that he will be able to have the train move and have fun building the Legos. This will be a fun family activity!

pros: - not loud as other trains - looks decent - keeps kid engaged for a while cons: - needs a lot of AAA batteries - track is hard to move, it falls apart overall: kid is very happy with christmas present

The Arctic Train is a welcome change from the typical City trains. The set comes with six minifigs, two arctic foxes, track, train motor, PUP hub, and remote, making it well worth the pricetag. The snowcovered rockwork is well done, and despite what the others are saying, the rockfall effect is pretty reliable, and even if the rocks don't fall everytime, the track is short and the train will pass by again in a few seconds, usually triggering the rocks to fall no later than the second pass. There are a few small Easter eggs, too, like the Yeti wanted poster, showing the Yeti minifg from the Series 11 collectible set. I will comment that the rock tunnel could be better secured to the track, as 4x 2-stud connections really is a bit light, so releated trains passing can break the track free, especially if played with on carpet. This also was a bit difficult to build if not on a table, as it was easy to keep breaking kff while handling. One of the real stars here though is the second new track element, the rerailer. This really is a must for larger layouts, especially coming off switches or removeable bridges, as it's very effective at popping a displaced wheel back into place. Overall, it's a nice set, and a great one for getting more kids into the LEGO train hobby.

It's is fun to build, and has the quality Lego always has. It's been a great addition to my collection.

Keep the theme trains coming. Great new parts and a creative idea for making the train a part of a larger scene.

Super disappointed that a Allstate protection plan isn't offered with this product especially since it's electrical (remote control train) and it was well over $200 with taxes!
