5 year old boy loves it! He loves firetruck/fireman imaginary play and this fits right in! He loves sending his lego minifigs down the slide.
Lego sets are always fun. This set has a lot of different components to it that lends to hours of fun creative play.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This Lego set is super cute! It is a good size for young kids, not too many pieces but enough to have fun with. The Lego pieces are sturdy and bright. Great for coordination and motor skills. My kids love it and are very happy.
My baby and I enjoyed putting this Lego together. Firstly, anyone can do this as the instructions are as basic as they come. Everything inside the box was labeled (1,2,3) for both the parts and the instruction manuals. Lego used basic picture instructions with no words so almost anyone could make it. I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This is a perfect starting set for a Lego kid moving up from the big blocks. It's divided into 3 bags with 3 separate instruction books. There aren't a ton of legos in each bag so it's not overwhelming for a young kid. And it's a firehouse, what boy doesn't like that!
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I expected there to be a little bit more Legos inside of this product. Most of the pieces were very small, so do not purchase expecting the big, standard size Legos, and also be mindful if you have smaller children who like to put things in their mouths! While I wish it had a little more product in the box, this is a great set for small children who enjoy trucks and who enjoy following directions to build some thing. This would have been difficult to piece together without the directions, for sure. One thing I did like was that it provided an opportunity for a parent and child to problem solve the construction of the truck and accessories together.
Ordered Lego duplo fire station and Lego city fire department is what the order was changed to. Not age appropriate. If I wanted Lego city set I would have ordered it.
