LEGO City Freight Train 60336 Building Set (1,153 Pieces)

I can't find enough great things to say about this wonderful Lego model train set! Growing up as a kid I had lots of wonderful memories making my Lego train town with the classic 9 volt electric system and so when I saw this I had that sense of childhood again! What I love so much is now our little girls can play and enjoy this one for countless years to come. From every step to the finished result is enjoyable. Unfortunately this model set is discontinued but if your lucky enough to find a sealed one, I highly recommend the light kit Lego offers for it. All in all I hope to see more great Lego model train sets to come!

Excellent quality and build as always, exactly as you would expect from Lego. Great fun playing with the set with my granddaughter! One small criticism, the set is very battery heavy…10 (!) AAA. Could the train pack not be a rechargeable unit? Lego seem to have missed a trick here?

This is my 3rd cargo train from lego city, i already have the 2014 and 2018 cargo trains in my collection and love both of them. I bought this to add to my collection as i love lego trains, i love cargo sets and this is both. There are tons of features in this set, hours of playability. It is compatible with only half of the cargo sets as the pallets are not standard across all cargo sets. I experienced an ever so problem but this was fixed immediately by lego and was the first problem i have had with lego, i have been collecting for 15 years.

My 6 year old son had this for Christmas. Great build and he loves playing with it. We bought some extra track which allowed more options of layout. Couple of downsides, batteries, 4 AAA for the controller and 6 AAA for the train, you can use the app instead but a rechargeable battery pack for the train would be better as with reasonable play batteries don't last long. The train bumpers are not fixed very well and can fall off easy when attaching and detaching the carriages, this mainly affects the main train which my son finds frustrating.

This is a great addition to the cargo train series. It already comes with a motor to power the train, so you just need to bring your own batteries to power it. The variety between train cars is nice and the color scheme is aesthetically pleasing and very modern looking, as is the locomotive itself. There are several addons here for additional playability, and as usual the cargo trains, the added switch track is nice too. The included track is enough to get started with, but you'll want more track to continue expanding upon.

I purchased this set for a birthday gift to a 7 year old . He absolutely loved the set. The locomotive is a standout feature, with its sleek design and powerful motor. He loves controlling it and watching it chug along the tracks. The set includes a variety of cargo cars, allowing for endless customization and imaginative play scenarios. From transporting containers to carrying vehicles, the possibilities are limitless.

Another pirchase for my way too smart 3 year old. She built this with help in no time at all. She loves playing with this and the other set joined together to make 1 big track. You have out done yourself lego on the detail used. I wish the battery lasted longer in the train. Feels like we are going through 6 aa every few days.... Keep up the good work

This set is very well designed and with high playability. It comes with lots of minifigures, two cars, and one crane-type loader car. It is also a huge bonus that it comes with the power functions. Over all, a very very good Lego set!

The Lego speaks for itself, this set is a great one. Walmart did a quick delivery again.

Bought for the 7 yr old grandson. He built the set by himself with no problem. He loves the motorized aspect of it that he can control. The train goes backwards, forwards and different speeds. He plays with it for hours.
