A Lego email reminded me about this purchase and requested a review, so here goes...We bought this set because we were planning to add a little one to the family and hoping to do exactly what the minifigs were doing someday, taking the baby on a holiday around the country. Thought this would be a nice momento and an encouraging reminder to take that trip. Unfortunately before the set arrived at our home, we suffered another miscarriage and I can't even bring myself to open the box at the moment. So there it sits hidden away so that we don't have to look at another reminder. It seems like it would be a fun and neat little set so I've given it a good review in anticipation of the time when our fortunes change and we finally open it up.
Very great build with lots of detail and the figures they chose for the set are perfect great new pieces/new donut .
The Lego is a gift. I'm sure the young man will enjoy building it and playing eith it. He loves Lego.
LEGO City "Holiday Camper Van" (190 pieces). This is a moderately complex model to build (2 large bags of bricks, 2 small). The RV is very well designed and attractive in appearance. The roof comes completely off, and the right side swings out, to provide easy access to the back play area of the vehicle. The roof also has a smaller removable cover for the sleeping compartment that houses a bed
This set is adorable! The Camper is small but the food and drinks and interior furniture are exactly what I look for in Lego City sets. The baby and baby carrier are a great touch as well as the trailer hitch on the back for any add-ons you might purchase separately.
I'm an adult builder but like the small enclosed vehicles, heck I like it all. But these types of vehicles are cute, quick to build, many different moving or removable elements which make it a fun build and also fun to put into different poses with afterwards. The license plate stickers were a bit hard to put on straight, and you have to remove the baby holder from the mom before you can put her to sleep in the sleeping section (which also means removing her head which makes it a bit weird). But overall, nice cute fun build. I own *many* LEGO products, so I didn't buy this one for the difficulty / challenge but for the fun of these types of builds / products.
This is a gift for my granddaughter and I can't wait for her to open it. Last summer we took her on a camping trip and she's still talking about the “camper van”. Price was much less than I expected.
Purchase this for my son for Christmas because he enjoys camping and wanted some thing that could portray our family. The little baby in the carrier is adorable and a big hit!
Great little Lego set as always. Fun and easy to put together. Our daughter is 10 and loves these sets so was put together on a flash. Still cute- onto the Jeep Rubicon!
This was a blast to build with my little nephew who is 3 years old. I'm 37, so fun to be had for just about everyone. The little guy amazed me with how fast he caught on to the build, and started getting ahead of the instructions. I'll remember that for a long long time!
