I absolutely love this police boat which I have had for a while now and decided to finally write a review on here, the police boat is slightly bigger than I expected with way more detail than I expected and really good play value, I absolutely love it and it is probably my favourite Lego police boat to date!
Love to give Legos. This set is good for both boys and girls. It has a few items within the set so the child can start with building the boat or save it for last. Easy to follow directions. 7 or 8 years old or Lego pros might not bother with directions. Works as a reward as well as a birthday gift.
While lego products never fail, and all children love them at some point in their childhood, the only negative thing I can ever say is the cost for parents that have kids that love legos is tough! Fabulous product, intricate detail and hours of fun over and over! The gift was a big hit, and the hours if fun he had building it with his dad was the joy we receive! Great job lego, but please consider pricing so that all families can enjoy them.
Purchased for my 5 year old kiddo for Christmas. He received a few Lego sets over the holidays and chose this one of all of them to start first. Took him 2 hours from start to finish with plenty of snack breaks in between. He didn't need a lot of assistance with the pieces as the lego builder app made it easy to follow. A bonus that it comes with two separate pieces and he can play in the tub!
Our son loves Legos and this was a fun build for him. Not the most complex build if you are an advanced builder but it is appropriate does the age category nonetheless. Instructions were great. You can never go wrong with Lego. Pricing is high, but true to the brand.
Grandson aged 6 really enjoyed building and playing with this. He needed little assistance to complete the task and enjoyed playing with it. We enjoyed the experience.
My son (11) really likes this set he has enjoyed building it and playing with it, although he says it does not float well he still enjoys playing with it.
The build itself is really cool and I can see kids having an easy time building this and having a lot of fun with it, there are no stickers and it can float in water. This boat is amazing for moc building it has a spacious deck and if you build it right you can even have a lower deck. I build a small pirate ship out of it and love it.

The boat doesn't float as described on the box. After just a few seconds, it tips over and sinks on its side. For a 5-year-old, it's really disappointing.
