This is also a good source of family time. I enjoy helping put the pieces together. I love that it helps with cognitive skills and critical thinking. Okay, this set is super cool. My two young cousins partnered to put it together. Great packaging which keeps all the pieces organized and easy to find. Excellent kid friendly instructions. The police were able to catch some criminals and put them in the clink. The police dog also took his job very seriously. Kids loved it!! Managed to scoop this up on sale.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This was my first Lego kit that I've personally put together. The step by step details in the instruction booklet made it a breeze to assemble. The pieces are packaged in labeled groups, so there's no confusion if you have the correct piece for assembling. These kids are far more detailed and way more fun to play with than the ones I grew up with 40 odd years ago. I notice that it says for ages 4 , so if your 4 yr old still likes to put small things in their mouth, this isn't a great choice. Very small pieces included. Aside from that, super fun, and I'm sure my grandkids are gonna love playing with this kit. Will definitely purchase more.

The pieces are very colorful and easy to grip. The characters are realistic and 172 pieces. I'm looking forward to playing with the other sets.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I have a 4 year old niece who is really into LEGO. This was the perfect size for a birthday present and the skill level was tough enough for her to sit and work on it for an hour, but still easy enough for her to complete. It's a cute set-up and the police dog is a nice touch (but I don't know why he has a connection on his back). My niece loved this.

My daughter loves anything Lego and she requested this, she is six years old and loves to build and can do so independently, good gift, good quality and you can always get creative and make what you desire out of what you have.

Nephew loved the police station set. He's in 2nd grade and really wants to be a police officer when he grows up! He was so excited and happy!
