LEGO City Town LEGO City Hospital 60204

This is the first actual advanced lego purchase for me. I have previously seen kids playing with the classic lego blocks but never have i tried any of those buildings or following manuals to build shapes. This product was meant for my kids but it turned out to be a little to complicated for their age (4 and 5 years) i was so mesmerized by it when i first got it that i opened it and started building it and left my kids out! it was so much fun and i couldn't let it down. Will definitely repurchase a larger, more advanced model like the Hogwarts castle that i have my eyes on. Lego has redefined the meaning of fun and games for me and the kids! will get simpler models for my kids too. Thank you so much LEGO. You're absolutely BRILLIANT.

I have almost an entire city that I've been collecting since I was 5 years old. The only thing I was missing was a hospital that was not custom built. I've been waiting decades for a hospital to be released by the Lego creators and now my city is complete. I had a little hospital that I bought in the 80's, but I wanted a big one like this one. Thanks Lego.

Very fun set to build, play with and display. I can seeing getting at least one more of this set to make the hospital a bit bigger. Things that I really like are the ambulance and all of the minifigs. Really liked the baby and the painter with the cast. I personal would have liked to see a few more prints. The stickers that went on the clear pieces were not good. I did get them applied but they have a different adhesive backing to them which I feel made them a bit harder to deal with. I think for the price having a couple more printed pieces should have been added to this set. That said this is a great little set to build and I will be getting one more.

A very fun set to build that has alot of minifigures (12 and a very cute baby minifig). It includes a "Light brick" that projects X-Rays on one of the walls on the second level. Be sure to add the stickers to the white wall plates and not the transparent windows which I did, luckily I managed to remove the sticker I placed totally wrong. Building value is very high, a truly magnificent set that has a very high "Bang for the buck" value if you'd ask me and I belive that younger (I mean kids) will love the Light Brick that adds extra playability to this set (as also the helicopter and the ambulance does) A truly magnificent set that will fit perfectly (I hope, I miss the square baseplates that was included in the older sets) within my Lego Town :)

This hospital is most detailed and feature packed hospital for minifigures. From reception and emergency entrances to exam, xray and nursery areas to the vehicles that provide support, this hospital not only renders the different areas with stickers (take your time and help younger builders to apply them), but there's medical equipment as well. Compact yet easy to provide play with the modular take apart features, this hospital has something for fans of all ages. This set has a minifigure count on par with the Expert modular sets, 11 + baby - and a skeleton if you want to count it, bringing the total to a potential 13, depending on how you wish to see it. Having a staff of 4 Drs/Nurses, 2 drivers/pilots and paitents of differing variety gives the imaginations a great boost. A hospital set hasn't come along with regularity like police or fire stations, if your Lego fan likes the medical field, get this set.

It is a really cool set. The light brick is the best part - just love how you can look at x-ray images! Our little boy is very pleased. The ambulance vehicle is really functional - being able to put an injured mini figure on a stretcher inside it. The amount and quality of detail is amazing. Very pleased with this set.

Probably one of the best Lego hospital sets in years. It's not often Lego produces medical sets, even back in the heyday of the 1980s and 1990s they were few and far between. This is a decent sized building crammed with plenty of accessories & equipment. But the most striking part of the set isn't just the amount of accessories plus emergency vehicles, but the high quantity of minifigures included: Four doctors, two medics and five patients. The variety is impressive and the detail is exquisite. Personally, I'd recommend modifying the layout of the hospital onto a baseplate for better access & play. Overall this is a great set.

Compared to some of the older hospitals that lego has done, this is a huge step up from the previous ones. Lego does a hospital every 6 years. This one was worth waiting for. The building is 3 floors, comes with a medicine lab, operating room/delivery room, a gift stand, and an ambulance loading bay. It also features a medical helicopter, ambulance, 4 doctors, 2 paramedics, 3 civilians, and 1 baby. I love the look of the ambulance. It's a fresh take on the traditional ambulances from lego, which I think is nice. The hospital building looks nice with all the glass panels. The delivery room has nice details like a heart monitor and a baby bed. The use of the red light brick is really smart. My only problem with this set is that 1. Its really cramped. I know that it's the biggest hospital from lego and it has 3 floors but I don't think that the production cost for Lego would increase that much if they just put an extra 8x8 plate in the first floor to increase the space. What I recommend is that if you are lucky enough, buy 2 of these sets and make this a modular hospital on a 32x32 baseplate. That would look great in a city. But, it's still a great addition to our city.

I was anticipating this set for a while, since we haven't gotten a proper hospital in a long time. I really enjoyed putting it together and the finished product is pretty rewarding. It looks nice on display and has plenty of fun play features. There are, however, a few cons to this set. My main issue is the stickers. I am not opposed to the use of stickers in a set but I really struggled to get the clear-backed ones on right. I don't know if it was just my sticker sheet in particular, but the clear backed stickers were very gooey on the back and it was impossible to peel them off to re-align them without getting big nasty gunk stains on the back of the clear sticker. This detracted from the looks of the x-ray feature because my stickers had sticky goo on the back of them that distorted the projected image. My other con is the cramped space on the inside, but this is understandable given the fact that there's a limited parts budget. At least the decor inside was well done. Overall a really good set but Lego needs to look into fixing this clear sticker issue.

Fantastic details, the light up brick in the radiography section is superb! My only real complaint would be the sizing of it compared to any of my modulars (to be expected), but mainly that there's no elevator or any way to actually get from floor to floor in the hospital, a tiny but in my opinion....crucial detail.
