LEGO Classic Blue Baseplate 11025

I bought these for my grandson. He needed additional “Lego” space to build, play %26 store. He didn't want to put away what he had just built. With additional plates, he could leave his newest creations up for a while. I do wish that the basic description included whether the plates are in cm or in. You actually have to go through several screens to find that information.

My adult son Saves a larger size Lego project for Christmas day. This year he will also do an orchid for my mantle. But he is getting some Phantom Menace Star Wars thing Lego set which he will put on this base plate and display in his gaming room. It's become a nice tradition every Christmas. Last year he made the Japanese treehouse and he needs a base plate for that one to keep things stable on the shelves. We had tons of these when he was little he wanted to be a Lego designer when he grew up.

While it seems like a simple piece of plastic this baseplate is very important for all of us Lego builders because it is very difficult to build large worlds and cities without these. Even if you only want to build a small house this is the best solution. The blue color makes it perfect for builds depicting the sea or other bodies of water.

We glued 4 of these to an old end table for a playmat for an 8 year old. The end table also had 6 drawers to keep his legos organized and stored. The plates cut relatively easily with a straight edge and utility knife. I scored a line on the back side at the length I needed (between dots), then folded it to break it, then cleaned up the edges. The only complaint I would have is that if you put factory edge to factory edge, the dots don't space out correctly. Luckily, we noticed this before glueing down the pads and used lego blocks to connect the pads until they were dry. There is a small gap because of the spacing, but he did not mind, and it allowed him to build seamlessly across the table top.

My son is obsessed with Legos he really enjoys playing with Legos and building stuff so these Lego plates work perfect

Great no assembly base to start building Lego for toddlers. They can pretend it's water because it's blue

Got this so my kid has something to build up from using his 750 pc assorted lego box we bought him foe christmas

This Lego mat was advertised in description as "LEGO Classic Blue Baseplate Square 32x32 Stud Foundation". The measurements are wrong it's more like a 9.5' x 9.5' mat.

Misleading description. Both the blue and green base plates say 32 x 32. Foolish me thinking it meant 32”. It does not. 32 means how many pegs there are on the plate. No where does it say this is a 10 x 10” base. Walmart do better. One star because Walmart is misleading. Everyone's time and money is wasted

Too thin to help “stabilize “ any building of legos. I thought this would be a good base. WRONG! You would be better to build in cardboard!! Do not buy this - waste of money and not good for any Lego building - even if you do it on a table. Too flimsy!
