This is the perfect megabox! I had no idea this thing even existed and during the quarantine, we are looking for things for our son to do. We have purchased so many little sets but this is exactly what we have needed. There are wheels and everything needed in this set to allow them to take the other sets they have used and tie everything together. This was such a hit at our house! Tons of playing alone and imaginative play. Just perfect
It was a gift for an 8 yr old girl, she loves Lego and was very excited when she opened this birthday gift. She has many legos already and was looking forward to having more flexibility making her creations.
This was a great set of Legos. My 6 yr old son absolutely loves having so options for building things with wheels. He has gone by the book, web and even his own creations. Great set for any little boy.
Always like the LEGO classic series as kids get to explore their imagination with endless enumerations possible with the set. My kiddo who is just 4 yrs old enjoyed playing many hours with this set without getting bored and always came up with unique ideas to put different pieces together.
Our kids loved legos so i bought a pack for our grandson, 4 1/2 years old. He needed a bit of help at first but now is able to build independently. He loves them! Keeps him occupied for quite a while, as 4 year olds go, anyway. I like this box because it includes a lot of brightly colored bricks plus a little bit of all the other parts like wheels and even a flat base piece. I think this box is a good value and a good starter box.
LEGO Classic "Bricks on a Roll" set (Walmart exclusive). 442 pieces. The 8 suggested build ideas are simple-moderate in complexity and provide a nice mixture of wheeled structures. Unfortunately, LEGO only gives you paper instructions for the ice cream cart, horse and carriage, pug on a skateboard, and vintage red car. You have to download a PDF for the green motorcycle, wheelchair, station wagon towing a shed, and vehicle service station from their website--but, they're also simple enough that I didn't do that and was able to assemble them from just the photos on the box anyway! They're all neat, but, the red car, wheelchair, ice cream cart, and skating pug (that tubby happy dog cracks me up!) are my favorites. Even after you build all 8, there are still piles of blocks, in many different colors, left over to create your own projects with too. I really wish that LEGO had included a mini figure or two, as vehicles are always better with drivers/passengers, but, many of these models aren't the right scale for that either. They did include a brick separator tool though. All-in-all, this is a nice wheel-focused introductory LEGO set that will provide many hours of play. I REALLY don't like when they expect you to download manuals instead of including them though. Great price (25 bucks) for 442 bricks too. 4.5/5.0 stars.
My 8 year old grandson has been reluctant to move from the larger legos to this size because the boxes indicate they are for making one thing. Since I got this box he wants to play with them all the time because he can be creative. There is also a booklet included giving steps to build three different things. He loves this set which makes me love it too.
Still the best toy in the world to unplug your kids from electronics and play. They should give you legos when you leave the hospital at birth! My kids and grandkids STILL love them. GREAT GIFT
I got several sets of these and they kept my little charlatans aka my kids very busy. Easy to snap together, even for my children who have very little fine motor skills. I will say when they destroy each other's creations, it's a real travesty. Would repurchase, regardless.
My son started with these at this size at four if your child does not know to not put this in there mouth by this age it is not th manufacturer’s job. My son plays with these perfectly directions are easy to grasp for his age really helps him focus I also got it for 17 bucks and that was after taxes not sure why the price goes up daily
