It comes with a lot of different and unique pieces. There are a lot of bright color options! Pieces fit into place and can easily be removed. I know the ages say 4 plus, but older kids can have fun building the set as well. I love legos! Keep kids off their electronics. Great set if you are looking to use your creativity.

Also, the colors are so much fun and bright. I like that the set comes with extra pieces for building anything. The theme was a great idea in my opinion.

I wouldn't but it as my first set, but it's a great expansion set for those with other classic Lego sets. I expect this product to last for years and years. Please note that as with all Lego sets, assembly is required.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The ocean fun classic lego set has fun mini builds. Our favorites from the vehicles are the viking ship and the plane. From animals, we loved the whale and seahorse. The builds were fairly simple, but they have great details. The set includes two additional bags of bricks. One bag has color bricks that include pink, aqua blue, and purple. The other bag has neutrals, brown, sand, and gray. There are some special bricks and a couple of extra pairs of eyes. It's a great set for small display builds or imaginative play.

He outgrew Duplo and was looking for a chance to jump into the "real" lego world. These are challenging enough for him to spend some time without getting frustrated or asking adults for help.
