This set is nice because it comes with dividers and helps keep the blocks organized once opened (which is a plus with a 3 year-old). I think one thing that would be nice is if some of the easy to assemble pics were on the box. But I did a DIY where I cut them out with a box cutter and then taped them on the inside of the box. I find the pamphlet with the tiny writing a little hard to use -- both for me and my granddaughter.

We love this Lego set, it makes for easy travel to where ever we are going or just keeping busy at home or in the car while traveling. Our children can easily carry this lightweight case themselves which is helpful to us and gives them a sense of independence. It allows kids of many ages to bring their favorite building blocks on the go and it's easy to store, clean up and take on the go. Couldn't say more great things about it

Great starter set. I bought this as a gift an introductory to Legos gift. She loved it she was four. It came with a nice little case that all the Legos fit back into and shut tight. Good price for Legos and a container. She played with them so much she now has two collections going one at home and one at my house.

My grandchildren loved it! It's nice to have a Lego kit they can play with here at our house that has its own storage case (not cardboard, but sturdy plastic). They can both make many small creations, or team up and build a big tower. They also enjoy toting the case around and playing with it. The kit includes a book that shows how to make many different toys, which my grandson can now use. I am extremely pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it for 1-2 kids. I would suggest buying 2 or buying a larger set for more children, so all can play.

my daughter loves loves loves these. she is one of those kids who gets bored easily, but she can play with keggos for hours because it is somthing that is hands on and no restricted to just one thing. she can make whatever she can imagine (as long as she has enough legos, which there is a decent amount in this case. so, so far she hasnt been limited because there wasnt enough. i played with them whe. i was littke and was the same way.. these are allways a great toy for jids!

Now to be fair here, I DID get this item on a special sale for under $14. That is the reason that I purchased it and it was a WONDERFUL GIFT! So keep an eye out for price changes.

I design 3D parts to go with Legos and needed a cheap set, well this is as cheap as it gets to get normal blocks as most these days are kits to build specific items.

I purchased this item to donate to a Santa Ana School District classroom for special students. They use it continuously and extended it's use to more than a toy. They learned colors and shapes, how to count, analytic skills, etc. Well worth the money!

Kid ABSOLUTELY loved this but the red locking pieces are easy to pop off, making the travel ability not as nice. Other then that a great little starter kit

My 4 year old grandson loves the legos. Together we made the suggested items in the brochure it came with such as flamingo, apple, elephant, small car. The directions were easy. My only complaint is the carrying case. For some reason the large plastic hinges are removable and it keeps coming apart like constantly to the point where right now one is missing. All the inside removal little walls that allows you to compartmentalize also kept coming apart and don't know where they are now.
