LEGO Classic Medium Creative Brick Box 10696

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Lego creative boxes are so perfect for children (or adults) who want to freestyle what they build. My son and I like following instructions to build sets, buts sometimes you have your own idea and just want to build something different and this set gives you plenty of pieces to do just that! There are enough different colours. My son was really pleased with everything he had to build his little car and garage!

My daughter has fell in love with lego the endless amount of time she has had with this including me and dad has been amazing. I love the fact it comes with a stoarge box to keep everything in the one place as well. 10/10 from our family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely wicked toy! My 3.5 year old and her dad play with this for hours! I didn't expect it to come with a booklet of instructions of all the things we could make with the box of Lego so that was very handy and there's even more things online that we can make too. Super fun to build and to play with the finished products. The only downside to the suggested builds I noticed that id build one item from the booklet, move onto a new item and then realise that I need a piece out of the previous build but I'm already too deep in by that point, sometimes it's easy to switch out the piece for a similar one.

As someone who grew up playing with Lego and who rediscovered it a few years ago for adult fun as well, to say I was looking forward to the day I'd give my son his first set would be a massive understatement. We opted for this set because it seemed to have the greatest diversity of elements (wheels, eyes, larger plates, big pieces) and not too many small pieces as we weren't sure about his frustration level or fine motor skills (he's 3). Well, we couldn't have asked for a better experience, from the quiet disbelief when we gave it to him to the never-ending fun he has with it, and with us as well:) Watching how his play has developed over the past few months has been remarkable, from dexterity to creativity - I thought the included instructions would be too hard for his age but he took to them immediately (with some assistance haha). In conclusion - could not recommend this set enough. The difficult part now is deciding what should be his SECOND set?

My 5 year old and 7 year old were able to work on these together without any help. They built out all the ones in the idea book and then asked to print out the instructions to the other ideas on the booklet. I do wish they just included them. Set was able to build all these in picture and some remaining for free play. I love that there is plenty of room in the box so I can purchase other sets to add and keep them neat in that sturdy storage brick. That was also a big deciding factor getting this set because of the Lego storage bin.

I chose this as I feel there can be more creative play when using your imagination. Recipient has quite a few brick & box sets so this will help to make bigger and more colourful builds. Not been built yet as it will be a gift but contents checked. Recipient will love

MY both daughter 3 and 4 years old spend much of their play time with their first Lego set- Classic medium and Lego Friends. some of their imagination results are in pictures. The best they did and I loved is "wind mIl", "Park" and "drop zone"

Lego creative sets always a great way to start your collection. You get a storage block with the set which is always nice. An easy way for kids to organize their Lego and not lose any pieces. If they buy mini sets there's room to store those in the box as well.

After having our first child this year we resolved to stay up to date and keep a LEGO Winter Village with all of the released sets and any sets to come. Well of course it was a huge mistake getting all these holiday sets early and waiting to build them until season-appropriate... So we picked this up and I have to say it is an awesome kit for the price. The included builds are cute and clever but there's also just a lot of great bricks in here to let your imagination run wild.
