LEGO Creator 3in1 Modular Sweet Surprises 31077 (396 Pieces)

My son absolutely loved this set! The fact that it can be redone gives him more to build he loves it.

Very cute set, with easy to follow directions.

My 8 year old is Lego obsessed and this set was one of his favorites to build.

Great set on its own and the modular design makes it fantastic for integrating into larger builds. Here's hoping LEGO makes more of their future designs modular like this one.

Truly love LEGO's 3in1 sets. I enjoy the possibilities/options. This set was no different. With 396 pieces was simple enough to assemble. Lots of little pieces, very few small, printed pieces, but also no "stickers" to attach. BE AWARE this is a LEGO set that does not have numbered bags, but like I mentioned, clear booklet instructions were easy to follow. So, do not expect the usual order, just be patient and figure out your own building strategy.

You need to take the personality and maturity of the receiver into consideration when purchasing this set. The suggested age range will not apply adequately to some kids. Some recipients may to prefer to merely play with the pieces rather than follow the vague directions toward completion.

Like most Creator sets, I bought this one primarily for the pieces. There are some great ones included in this, but I was also impressed by some of the builds. The freezer for the frozen treats is fun, and the spinning window display was cool to see. Mostly, I see this set as a great addition to anyone working on a boardwalk or seaside town. I can see how this one could be directly used with the Pirate Roller Coaster. The biggest con is the interior of the shop is a bit drab, and there definitely could have been more going on inside. But I like the pieces (especially the different shade of blue) and the overall style of the set.

I bought this set for my 3 years old nephew to build with supervision by me. When he was building it the doors, windows and the display would come apart even though they were pushed in all the way. His favorite part are the revolving display case and popsicles.
