[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quite a good pack as you can use the same pieces to build 3 different space crafts: a space shuttle, a rocket and a lunar lander. Although my 5-year old boy doesn't want to take the space shuttle apart that he built for hours to rebuild it into a rocket or the lunar lander cos the space shuttle itself is quite good and lots of play experience as the cockpit opens for the astronaut, the storage opens and close for the satellite and the space suit and the wheels retract . So many moving parts to keep the child entertained. It's been 3 days since he built it but he is still playing with it. My son doesn't really play lego or ask for a Lego that much but when he does and gets presents from family, he will spend time building it. I was even surprised he was able to build this almost by himself because there are really tiny pieces that are really looking similar. Sometimes he gets confused and would ask me for help but I myself cannot decide and we just try cos it's not very clear in the manual too. Overall, this is a really good pack. The only thing I noticed is when one side of the shuttle's storage door is opened, it's base lifts and leaves a gap so we have to push it back all the time.

It's a large set which takes a whole to build but isn't that half the fun with Lego!? I was pleased the astronaut figure was a female and that the app and interest encouraged my son to learn more. Only factor that would improve it is if you could build all three pieces at the same time. Overall I would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd say this Lego set took my 11 year old about 3 hours to complete. The instructions are very easy to follow. This set can make 3 different designs, daughter chose to make space shuttle. It is so detailed, the doors open, the wings fold and the wheels pop out. I'm sure it does much more, but it is such a neat and fun set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 8 year old nephew he was so excited to build it. We built the rocket first and glad to say we got there in the end. This kit is really good value for money as it gives you three options to build. My nephew could not believe that I played with Lego as a child and children are still playing with Lego. It is a toy that has stood the test of time and still inspires children and adults imagination. One tip I would give is try and build this on a clear table so you can see all the Lego pieces. This will certainly keep us occupied during the summer holidays.

Imagine her excitement when she opened it and realised it included a female astronaut. With some help from dad they assembled it in the space of a few hours and many many hours have since been spent whizzing off on space adventures. It withstands most play and if a part does fall off it is easy to fix. She has really enjoyed switching it between the 3 different space toys, particularly enjoying the rocket the most. It has really helped to engage her love of space in an educational way.

This really is an ingenious design, to get the three most iconic space vehicles into one set is worth the entirety of the price. This is before considering the build, parts and the classic space logo on the mini-figure. If you are a collector, consider getting three sets so you can display them all. The advantage over the full scale Saturn V, Discovery Shuttle and Luna Lander is: 1. Price - relatively cheaper than the expert creator sets 2. Space - the model is much smaller, so you can display this set more easily if you are low on display room 3. 3-in-1 - getting all three space vehicles for the price of one 4. Child friendly - due to the relatively cheaper cost, it makes a great educational toy for young children without the risk damaging your expert creator sets. They are also smaller, lighter and easier to handle. Overall, highly recommended ! Thanks Lego for another excellent product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the box arrived, my 8 year old boy jumped for joy. He delved straight in to sort out the pieces. He did require some help in getting started, but he quickly picked up the build and after a couple of hours, the spaceship was built. It was an amazing creation, the detail was excellent and my boy was so proud of what he had built, it went straight onto the shelf in his room to show it off. We haven't yet tried the other models as a result but I am sure there are plenty of hours of fun to be had building the other models. Overall very pleased with the product!

This year he became interested in the solar system, space ships, NASA and astronauts. His visit to NASA was just the beginning for his obsession with everything space. With this kit, we can build a rocket, a space shuttle and a lunar lander! I love that it comes with a cool astronaut. There are plenty of moveable parts for creative pretend and play. There are 486 pieces. I can't wait for our time building this and watching his excitement!!!
