LEGO Creator Expert Corner Garage 10264 Building Set with defectsl

I sat on the fence for a long time with this modular but had heard good things from other AFOLS so I finally took the plunge to get it. Having now built it I am REALLY glad that I did, it looks much better than I anticipated and the building experience itself was a lot of fun. My favourite piece is probably the window sign for the Vet Office (Dr. Jones - No snakes) which gave me a nice little giggle, even if I did crack the joke before I had fully read the window print. I am also happy to report that even if you put the window in the wrong way round it is easy to pop out and refit once the build is complete (yes, I'm that person). A small number of mini figures with this modular but, to be entirely honest, that works for me as I am not a big mini figure fan (don't come for me). They do add life to the displayed modular though and it looks great on the shelf. Let's be honest there isn't that much else you can do with the modular range once they are built and that works for me as I enjoy the build and I get just as much pleasure from looking at the completed item and remembering the build. I loved this one as it had the added animal care section. I like that this matches in nicely with the rest of the creator sets to form a town.

When I got this set I was amazed just by seeing the box, the details throughout the build are spectacular! The tow truck includes is a great small add on which certainly bring the set to life! This has to be my favourite modular out of the three I own, (my other two are the diner and bookshop) I am in love with cars and the 6 wide speed champs look great around the building! The vets is a nice little floor and the sofa and aquarium builds are fantastic! The apartment floor which is right at the top has a lovely kitchen and a nice build for a toilet room! Overall a great set and I'd recommend to everyone!

I am so glad that I took the plunge to buy this set! It has lots of features like the extra words on the signs and that the tow truck winch moves up and down. I only wish that there was a back entrance to the apartment so the owner doesn't have to walk through the vet and garage to get out. I would definitely recommend this set and it is worth the money! I can't understand how people couldn't like this set and want it to retire faster. The modular building are always awesome and this one has lots of building techniques. Enjoy the build!

LEGO Modular corner garage is a very neat and clean build. The inside uses tiles to make the building very clean. Good use of different shapes and pieces to make a good build. I am not pleased that they didn't use plates in the first floor, but I understand that they want to have mini figures stand. Overall this build was very fun and good for display. This looks great in my LEGO city and I am excited to add future modular builds to it as well.

This modular building has really been a pleasure to build, its got some tricky steps that keeps the build intresting all the way through, the designers have chosen some really bright and intresting colours that bring this building to life. The operational toe truck can be used to set up some great street scenes within your city. I have now collected all the modular buildings and I'm happy to say this is one of my favourites. If I had one small criticism it would be that vehicles need to be a certain size to fit within the garage (speed champions fit perfectly) and if the scissor lift is operated to quickly vehicles can occasionally roll off, although with a piece as intricate as this it was always going to be a challenge for the design team. None the less this building is wonderful and will make a great addition to any Lego modular fans collection.

I loved this build, the vets office was my favorite! The garage is cool and the truck fits in perfectly. Before I got this I read reviews and got a little concerned, don't listen to em the build is so fun and I think the value for money is there! Give us more like this LEGO!

The LEGO item itself is perfect, fun build. The three stars is for the careless way it was shipped. The box was NOT placed in a plain shipping box and was sent without any protection or being able to hide what it was. It arrived with tape around the entire box because the LEGO box (which has only thin cardboard) had been ripped open and torn in many places. Pieces could have fallen out and it could have easily been stolen. All other retailers probably would have placed it in another larger box. Why this wasn't taken care of properly is beyond me! I won't be ordering from Walmart again!

Received a damaged box (shipped in bag) and it did not say Lego anywhere on the box. A label was placed over Chinese characters saying it was compatible. Walmart should do something about sellers offering fake goods being passed off as originals. Nothing against someone copying Lego (the detail is amazing) but don't sell as Lego.
